Greetings fellow gamers, I'm fairly new to the PR mod but I must say its absolutely brilliant.

I am a vet BF2'er and stumbled upon your mod a few weeks ago and I just had to jump on here to tell you how great I think it is.

Welcome Riot! Make SURE you have a mic and stick with your team, follow and back them up. I wouldn't try and get fancy with any armor/vehicles but just learn the Fine Art of Infantry for starters. A good SL to help get you running can make a world of difference as the game is unforgiving and not arcady. Read the manual really well and you should be up and shooting quick.

No joke If you have been playing vBF2 for long you gonna have to drop your habits quick and in a hurry cuz none of the tricks in vanilla will work in PR. So dont even bother with bunny hopping, dolphin diving, nade spamming or Rambo tactics of anykind cuz they will get you killed more often than not and you will be embarrassed on the chat(1337 BUNNYHOPPER NOOB LOL). Join an infantry squad that communicates. If you join a squad and they dont communicate for longer than 2 min just switch squads that squad is no good. Value your life as 30 sec is a long time and stick with your teammates cuz when people see a bunch of guys sticking together they just seem to tag along. This is an awesome and rewarding mod for the patient and aggressive alike.

Welcome to the forums and the mod as a whole. Keep in mind:

Step 1: Read the manual carefully.
Step 2: Jump on a server.
Step 3: Join a squad that uses VOIP and turn on your microphone.
Step 4: Ask questions.
Step 5: Have fun in your squad.
