I loved that map and can't wait until they release the next edition WITH Muttrah in it. Even though you'd get a thorough thrashing every time you played as US it was great!

Anyone else missing it?

i miss it a lot too, that was a kick *** map

yup i mis it it was always fun whit tose little bird just a few inch above the ground land and go away in 30 sec it was the chopper was never there

One of my favorites.

first map i played pr on, amazing...
if i was mec i would rpg landing helis and rack up the kills but if i was us i would land with bullets screaming past from every direction and people getting shot off the heli before/as landing, heh good times good times

It was just perfect for me as a heli transporter.

I played muttruh only, well, if i saw it being played, i didnt care if i had 300 ping, i just wanted to ferry people from the carrier and back, you had no idea how fun it was to land in the nicest places and people would say, thanks m8

A spammy map, but fun^^ v2 of Muttrah looks much better and large, cant wait for it.

1st muttrah was one of my favorite map. Hope that Muttrah v2 will be fire too.

What are the vehicles in muttrah v2 ?? Just want to know because I don't like map with too much tank and APC

I hope they will add like 6 Blackhawks and 4 littlebirds there with a low respawn time to get a proper assault on the city, imagine 3 blackhawks getting shot down right next to yours

I have never played this map, but i have seen some vids on Youtube.
Liked the Teamwork and the situation you had when one squad was firing on an enemy squad on another rooftoop.

And in the background helis would land on other buildings.

Nope, I don't miss it at all and i'm glad its gone I was new to PR back then and didn't know what I was doing. Crashed a littlebird and got sworn at for being "a noob" and told "not to fly if o cant".

IMO the map was way too small and people on the the servers that I played on tended to just run around without thinking or fly the littlebirds (assuming they didnt crash) straight into obvious ambush points. Like that street along the east side of the map.

I used to just claymore that road and wait for the helis to come in, or i'd just sit there with an RPG.

I miss using the A10 to take out bridges on Al Basrah while dodging the AA fire. Muttrah just didn't do anything for me, it was just too predictable, sorry.

If the MEC got to the AA it was pretty much game over assuming people just got the RPGs and took out the littlebirds as they came in.

If and its a big if. The map was a lot bigger, used the 0.7 additions and had blackhawks (or other transport chopper) then maybe I could learn to like it. It was just no use not being able to get your squad to land all in one run, the boats were hardly ever successful.

I guess now that it's harder to hit anything and there are more kit restrictions, it'd be different.

There is a lot of us who want it back........as fast as possible

Learn to fly on a lokal server before you go into the real deal!


I love the map i used to fly little birds all the time, me and a friend from my old vannlia clan was traning on our clan server and got really good at landings etc we used to fly full rounds without ever crashing. Mmm that was the good old days.
