Its not much, but right now its also unrealistic.. right now you are a vampire or a ghost.. isn't possible because its hardcoded? or did you guys never thought about it?

Meh, missing shadow - that's a detail.

Right now you can't even see your legs when you look down. This is a normal FPS. There are not many FPS games where you can see your body (that therefore casts shadows). I can think of FEAR and that's about it (I don't count ArmA or OFP to FPS category).

Crysis, ETQW, and a few others have a first person body. There is no model to cast a dynamic shadow, thus there can't be one in first person, sorry.

Actually your shadow is casted sometimes, but not directly below you.

I've seen my own shadow before when standing on a hill, and it is casted on a tree branch or something.

On Qwai with the sunsetting, I've seen someone's shadow infront of me extended for ages, as you'd expect.

I still find it funny that when you're in a vehicle, the only shadow you see is a floating gun.

im pretty sure its possible, but then ud have to skin the legs.

its like in CSS, where if you're spectating someone, u can see their own shadows but its like extended away from the body which looks weird, but if u imagine where ur legs would be, it looks fine
