Scout Helicopters

Already implemented in the game for the US is the Littlebird scout helicopter, and the MEC equivalent, I don't recall the name. I'm not sure what the plans for the UK's version are going to be, but if they have one, it will most likely be a Gazelle. Anyway, my suggestion is that scout helicopters from all 3 factions have the laser designator, and a small radar scanner underneath, so they can truly work as scout helicopters. And maybe the option for the observer (co-pilot) to change to a downwards view, like the scout planes in Forgotten Hope 2. I also realise there has been suggestions for manual artillery, and I'm not sure what the response for has been on that, but if it does get implemented, then the scout helicopters can provide co-ordinates and visuals on the target area, forcing the pilot and gunner to work together.

I know, I'm downloading v.07 right now, so I'm not sure if it's been included in the Littlebird & co. But I know it's in the attack choppers. I'm saying if the scout choppers don't have it, they should.

I like the laser designator idea, but whether or not it'll be in probably depends on whether or not they have them in reality. I don't know if they do, possibly you do.

As for the radar feature, radars in BF2, and as a consequence PR, only allows radars that see everything within their range, including infantry hiding in buildings.

Hm, good point. Perhaps the co-pilot can operate the optical equipment mounted underneath the chopper, infa-red/thermal camera ect with 360 degree view. Would be cool, and realistic.
