Sniper Accuracy

ok i understand there have been many sides and complaints about the new accuracy system in PR 7, but this is getting out of hand now. Last night i had the pleasure of having the british sniper rifle and tried to cover my team as it advanced on a flag in the forest of one of those new maps we have. Now i am a very experienced sniper in the PR series, and the normal BF2, and.... basically any game with a sniper gun, im there, im good, im unstoppable. Soooooooo why is it that at abotu 100m where there is slight to no bullet drop i cant hit a standing mark? I mean i hear somethign abotu the stablization, that hey, the second i put my scope on and fire i wont be ready, so i have my scope up and i follow my target and get used to his movements and fire on the sweet spot when the moment is good, so i use up a good 10 second in scoped mode. The target stands still, i aim neck to head high, and fire... and.... nothing... its one of those WTF moments...
I figure, hey thats just a bad moment, lets try again. this time the guy i just shot at heard the bullet wizz past him so he lays down (dumbass), well i aim for his body (chest) and since i am at a higher position looking down at such a short range i fire directly on the crosshairs, and nothing, the bullet spray is either not there or its someplace else... in a full game with a sniper gun i prolly got 10-15 kills... and excuse me but on a map like albrashar where i got 50 kills and no deaths(all previous versions of PR), with ALOT less chances to kill like i did on the map im talking about, this is very ridicolous. Its happened to me on many occasions.
Yes i was laying down, YES i waited in scoped mode for some time before shooting, No i didnt hit a damn thing...
I know that the bullet drop is freaking crazy on the map that starts off like d-day, where american forces are tryign to take over the flags to their right and left which are high above them in the hills, bunkers everywhere, etc, u know what im talkign about. When im sniper and tryign to take care of a guy in a bunker, its almost idiotic to try and shoot somebody whos laying down. I have absolutely NO idea where the bullet drops because i cant see where the bullets sprays in relation to the guy im trying to shoot at, and i can only hit crounching to stnading targets, moving or not. i adjust and adjust but it never seems enough.. its extremly annoying... Tell me somethign i dont know, because if thats just how it is then im not gonna bother to try and get that gun if i cant do any good with it.

I heard something about the Marksman and Sniper kits being bugged with deviation atm, and I also heard something of a fix.

But incase that's just my wishful thinking, I'll just say that you currently, can barely shoot anything with the new rifles.

Enemy 200 meters away, sitting still, sight is stationary on his head for at least 5 seconds. FIRE - Nothing.

What's up with it? :(

I'll confirm this, had my hands on a sniper to help my squad out with extreme ranged targets today and couldn't hit anything, even with a long wait time and raising/lowering below the target. I even tried to kill a vodnik gunner with 2+ mags and didn't even see a spark on the gun shield. Don't think he even noticed me shooting at him :( .

There is a fix set for the next patch. I believe this has been addressed elsewhere, please use your search and look at the reported bugs etc.

Well known problem by now. DM/Sniper rifles are fuber in 0.7 Will be fixed in the patch. Apologies.

I just hope, that the fix doesn't mean, that when two squads engage each other, the one with two snipers will win, because they can immediately fire back accurately, while the enemy squad has to wait for deviation to settle in :?

HAT Kits better get fixed too.They fire WAAAY Up above me...Like 10-20 meters above me,they're un-realisticly off...

Do you know how to operate them properly in 0.7?

Since we're sort've on the subject of HATs, I've noticed that they spawn the missle a bit to the left whenever they're fired (relative to the aiming center) and yes of course I'm speaking about when you having the aiming reticule steadied. Ex. I had a blackhawk hovering about 30-40 metres or so and missed due to it.

Sniper rifles are bugged; they will be fixed in the 0.7 patch according to a couple of posts from DEVs.

This is a repeat of other topics on the matter; please use the "search" function (available top-right hand side of the forums) before posting issues such as this in the future :) .
