let me begin by applogizing to the ladies in the comunity, this is just a figure of speach. but for all of you that used to play on the gloryhoundz server back in the day, do you remember after 3 punished tks you were banned for the round. on hind sight of this setting i found more people were forgiving rather than the insta punish that is happening all to frequently. accidents happen, forgive and get over it. i thought of this while i was playing today on TG where TKs seemed to be rampent and accidental with a few heated text spamming my screen. back a few years ago, all you saw was a tk message, an applogy and then the forgive message...... oh how times change.

I almost never punish, unless the TKer applies to this:

1. Is a smacktard that's fooling around
2. Teamkills me/team repetitively
3. Is MrMong :p

If one of them applies, I press the punish button!

ohh the good old gloryhoundz days. I'd give anything to have that kind of teamwork on the pubs now. :(

I mostly forgive all the TK's too.

But today I've made an exception - our APC got teamkilled by a heavy AT!
How the hell can't you tell a difference between MEC BTR and American LAV ? Especially when it takes 5 minutes to get the crosshair steady.

I usually wait for an apology..... If I dont get one I'll punish... and I try to always apologize for the TK's I accidentaly do...

I can beat that, I was gunning the IFV on Kufrah, a squad of C2s 300 m away, one of them turns around and destroys me with a Sabot after starring at me for 25 seconds.

As always, iGi server has this function turned off to stop people spoiling the fun for everyone else.

We do however have a swear filter on though (this is to promote voip usage really, swear all you want on voip and you're safe. Don't use a mic, not be a 'teamplayer' and you've only got the text chat to cope and swear twice and you're gone, lol!)

Why yes yes I do :P

Back in the days where a 12v12 or 16v16 game at primemtime was considered incredible, when Rikirude and Fuzzhead were ripping up the world. Ahh the glory days on GloryHoundz

I punish you for not finding my joke funny! :p

Anyways, I don't think I have seen a single tk forgive on the public servers since the 0.7 release. :( Why is everyone getting so stuck up that they have to pgdn the second they hear "Cease your fire!".

I don't punish unless someone is either exceptionally stupid in their TKing or just being a jerk.

I'm a very forgivable guy. But when a team player with a range weapon, hand held or otherwise, takes you out when no enemy is even 500m from your location, just because they saw movement, that gets a punish.

i'm harder on the noobs

I always forgive Tks on two conditions, the player in question must at least message "sorry", or something pertaining to that, on chat after the tk. Or if the TKer is a TG guy, becuase I almost always play on TG, I forgive as well.

I punish for carelessness and poor decisions, even if there was no intent. I'm helping improve that player through negative reinforcement :D

However I do forgive even some pretty dumb TK's. Basically anything that is at all reasonable I forgive.

I forgive if they apologize, and punish if:
1) they dont
2) it was a really obvious tk

i always forgive if its a runover, or stuff like that :p
