Stryker

Well, as i have heared, in the next release after .7 there will be an al fallujah map. I have also have been hearing rumors that there will only be light vehicals on it, but I'm not certain. Anyways, I searched the forums for the stryker but only found a few threads that were not to informative so i didn't think writing one more would hurt. As many of you may know, the stryker has been used numerous times through out the Iraq war as a troop transport or APC of the next generation. It has a .50 cal machine gun and many other attachments that are compatible with it. Also having played Al Basarah many times and having become familiar with the warrior, I thought that a us version of the warrior but not too over powering would be a nice addition to pr. I think that the striker fits the bill. Let me know what you guys think it may not be what The dev's are looking for in their release of Al faulljah, but i think it is in the complete realm of possibility that the striker could play a part in the upcoming Al fallujah map. Thanks for your feedback
Here are some links to pictures of the beautiful striker in action:>>>>>

I think that fallujah will be a USMC map, and the Stryker is a US Army vehicle. SO don't think it will be on that map.
Apparently there will be US army in the MOD at some point in the future and i'm sure i heard that someone is workng on a Stryker for them.
I too can't wait to have it supporting my squad hope they have the MGS version as well as the AFV.

If you're looking for an American Version of The Warrior.Go with the M2 Bradley IFV (Ifantry Fighting Vehicle). It has the same 25mm. Bushmaster cannon as the LAV-25 so it's balanced to the other APC's.AND,It can carry a max. of 6-9 gies.It can also have TOW missle boxes or Stinger boxes attached. As you see on the Linebacker variant. It has Stinger Boxes.
And,I love the Warrior and all,But I'd have to say the M2 Bradley would be better. It has a stonger cannon and fire rate.Correct me if i'm wrong? And can carry those TOW's.They use the same armor right?

I read at one point on here that the linebacker might be remodeled stinger free as the bradley. I agree that the bradley would be a bit easier to balance against the other factions, but I think tossing in the stryker would keep things interesting, and make the US army a different faction.
Given Jaymz's reply I assume both are still on the table.

Again,USI M2 Bradley model is very nice!
The DICE "Linebacker" model is nice, but a tad to all,and not long enough. And I fail to see why the Bradley's 25mm. Bushmaster doesn't do the same amount damage as the LAV-25,when they both use same cannon...
But yea,you could take Stingers out and Put TOW's in.

Thats interesting, i had no idea that the stryker was developed strictly for the army i would still love too see it implemented anyway

Yes but currently the bradly is really only meant to be used as an AAV, but it would be great if they moded it for some ifv action as well.

Yea the Bradly can carry tows that would also be great for taking out specific buildings, which has been seen in numerous fallujah videos. Im almost leaning towards the bradly ore now (only if tweaked a bit though

)

Maverick,The Bradley AAV (Anti-Air Vehicle?) variant (Linebacker) is not in service anymore. It's primary role is an IFV/CFV (Infantry Fighting Vehicle) (Calvary Fighting Vehicle)
And if you meant Amphibious Assault Vehicle by AAV,well...The Bradley is able to have a quick inflate raft on it's sides,so it'll float,But the system is very un-reliable.
Quick Fact:M1/M2 Bradley took out mor hostile armor in Desert Storm than M1A1 Abrams.

Every keeps saying nice find...why? That is Project Reality's Stryker. If you read the little paragraph you will see. Ive seen it before many times. Very sexy. Ive also seen it skinned(hint check the next page).
BTW whats the word on that thing. Is it acceptable to the DEVs?
