is the 0.7 player base cleaning up yet?

I haven't played PR or even thought about PR for two week because of school and other RL events.

I was playing the first week when it came out and alot of people/noobs were still getting used to the new changes, squading, etc.

Are the player getting used to the feel of 0.7 yet, or is everyone still scrambling around/ Tking/ destroying jets?

Depends on the server, and the people. Hop on, you'll enjoy it regardless. We do.

At the server I play in, they tend to enforce dedicated vehicle squads. Since the vehicles take effing long to respawn, you pretty much have to. On occasion you'll get a noob one-manning an armor, but it's never enough to be noticeable on the gameplay.

Get over yourself..lol. To answer your question..No., the game is full of NOOBS. There has been a pandemic of imanoobavirus. It is highly contagious, and has a mortality rate of 100%. All servers are contaminated, and my advise to you is to stay away.

Perhaps in a year or two it will be safe for such an awesome player such as yourself to come back and teach us all how to be better players.

As for everyone else, I hope that the noob virus spares you..it hasnt spared me, and I cant seem to shake it. I will admit it..I AM A NOOB...and there is no cure.

As ever, the influx of new bods to a new release of PR is huge.

As ever, some will say "Meh! Fu*k this for a game of soldiers!" and melt away into the ether whereas others will learn, love & stay.

As ever, the instances of nubby behaviour is high.

As ever, patience and a non-elitist approach from established players is needed.

Just another day on the frontline ir0n_ma1den

Indeed. Many a match would have left the server empty, were it not for the ridiculous antics of those who knew not what they did.

Oh how true it is. Has some good ones on Kashan: little bird flying into the bunker entrance to help kill those nasty mecs, BH landing infront of enemy armor and then the pilot getting out.

But to answer the original question, it seems worse than ever in the last few days, I've actually seen a full 6 squads with no officer kits and no rallys.

I actually haven't seen that much affect on gameplay

They all ran away after they saw that there is no minimap.

Apart from the occasional tipping chopper, and someone screaming "how do I fly? Why me? Why me?" It's fairly calm.

One particularly naughty piece of behaviour that the .:iGi:. lads and I have noticed over the past couple of nights is the amount of baserapers this time round.

We had to warn 3 guys for camping the USMC base on Qwai tonight (and don't worry: we have a note of who you are).

Come on to Christ guys! It doesn't take Albert bloody Einstein to work out that if you're the only soldier near the enemy base taking out enemy troops with impunity that you're not playing to accepted rules!

All hear this: if, on .:iGi:. server, you don't comply with the admin warning to stop baserape, you are banned.

No appeal, no 2nd chances. Just plain banned and your name/hash etc, etc will be posted in the Server Admins section hopefully to have your cheating, immature *** banned from all the other decent servers.

Now let's play nice ;)

I have to agree, I am getting quite fed up with the baseraping. At least every round it happens. Half the time they don“t even listen to the warning.

or even better: little bird flying into the bunker entrance to help kill those nasty mecs, then after a squad has capped it, the little bird flys into the bunker entrance to help kill those nasty humans and gets 2 TKs.

I have only been playing the update for a few days and I have found, and seem to remember always finding this, that if I wait until 21h00 GMT then there are normally a majority of good players. I just had a good couple of rounds starting at 22h00 but when I went on around 17h00 its wasn't terrible but it wasn't as good as it can be. Yesterday it went on at 16h00and nearly gave up, I thought I can't believe I waited 6 hours for this, then I went on again at 21h00 and found a great squad with a guy who may or may not have been the real Andy_McNab (that was his name) and a guy called Joe_Pineapple. I had a great game so yeah after 21h00 it gets markedly better.
