no ammo from anything?

Okay, so, overall, the new version of Project reality kicks unlimited amounts of ***. however, I do think there was one change that was just simply unholy.

Why is it that the following which used to give ammo (cars, technicals, firebases, APCs, support/command trucks, rally points, and helicopters as far as i am aware of) dont dispense ammunition anymore? no spawning for spawn cars and APCs seemed like much, but no ammunition? how is it at all realistic to not be able to get ammo from rally points and firebases? this is project reality right?

There will be more places to get ammo from in the patch, so dont worry too much about it.

Firebases resupply ammo, you just have to be standing on top of it and not near it.

It's being worked on now and we dont have a specific date as of yet. So officially, "whens its done" but at a guess.... within a month.

Current ammo sources:
  1. Bunkers
  2. Firebases
  3. Command post
  4. Command truck crates
  5. Chopper crates
  6. Ammo bags
  7. Respawning
  8. New kit selection
Is this not enough? We need even more? With all these sources, who is running out of ammo? If you are running out, what type is it? Going to take a wild guess and say the answer is HAT, LAT, and grenades. Ammo for those weapons SHOULD be limited as much as possible. Do people want to fire their LAT, HAT, and grenades with unlimited ammo? Spray and pray? Spam away?

Yes, I know it's "realistic" for vehicles to store extra ammo, but the maps we play are not realistic; they're confined spaces with already abundant ammo sources. Why is it necessary to further saturate the map by laying down mobile ammo sources everywhere else?

Further ammo sources are not needed. It's already spammy enough as it is. What is the case for adding even more ammo sources?

I still wish insurgents culd get ammo form thier cars and 50 call trucks, also keeping them like in .6 where they also run out of ammo.

well they also need to make it so you dont get ammo from your ammo pack, cus if you have a ammo pack you have unlimited ammo.

Wouldn't mind having jeeps with ammo back. Just not a lot of ammo like v0.6.

Seriously, that is the cheapest cr*p. When I found that out it was a facepalm moment.

I think that they should atleast give ammo back to the Humvee's and possibly APC's. That'd still be realistic.

There's a buttload of ammo sources right now, I don't know why people are complaining.

Realistically the only things that are a real issue currently are grenades. In 0.6 you could spam them and find the nearest jeep/APC/wreck/RP/FB/Bunker/supply crate and get more nades, and keep spamming. While there is still a good deal of spamming in 0.7, it would be much worse if we went back to the previous ammo system.

I do agree that RPs should resupply, but other than that I think its pretty good.
