Installed PR .7 Yesterday.

Went to play it today and as the map loads up to 100% it crashes to desktop, I've never had this issue with the Vanilla BF2 or with any of the older PR versions.

Any suggestions ?

Sorry I can't help with this issue, as it can be one of any cause.

I would recommend you try this forum area though. Read through it, see if others have had the same problem as you and see if their solutions help you as well.

Just type "crash to desktop" into the search.You'll get to meet with all the other people who have had this trouble and pick which solution works in your particular case.There are a few differing reasons but not many.

i had this same problem, its probly one of 2 things,

1. you didnt install the core AND the level packs. you need both. about a billion people didnt do this and were posting threads just like this.

2. you are joining version .06 servers. there are still some out there, and when you browse servers they will still show up even if you have the "same version" box checked, its some kind of bug i believe. when you join a version .06 server the map will load to 100% and then crash to desktop. make sure you join a server that has version .07 clearly stated in the server name field. this is the problem i had.

dont just reinstall bf2 yet, make sure you eliminate these as problems first its much easier. let us know how it goes.
