How many IED's does it take to kill C2?

I asked and people said one well placed IED will do it... however... WHen playing on Albrashar i sneaked up on a challenger that was camping on top of a bridge, so i set one IED right under it, (not next to it or anythign, i mean right under it), went back to a safe distance, waited 10 more seconds, and pop (well more like boom, but wtvr). I pop my head back up and find the bridge broken, and no sign of wreckage of the tank, so i go ontop of the bridge, look down, and theres the challenger, taking off from under the bridge smoking slightly.... wtf? Does it take two then?
PS: i finished him of with an rpg after cussing his *** out, lol.

Mate, instead of making a thread on this, why don't you spend a few minutes creating a local server and finding the answer out yourself?

Because he has the forum record of most pointless topics in the shortest amount of time. Go though the list and youll find that the majority of the locked threads are his. I mean he has already annoyed rhino in the little time hes been here.

Every seems a little testy today...

I've seen a c2 taken out by one once on the T&T server

Last time my squad did it, we piled up six in the same spot as the C2 rolled through. Six does it, I can say :D

aii what is it and the anger towards me. I mean come on, ok iv asked a few dumb questions, but if it wasnt for me we wouldnt have stabalizers on teh abrams for the next patch now would we, granted i didnt make the coding for it, mosquill did, but that thread really did something. But im just curious as to a few things like this IED issue, because askign people yields different results. Creating a local is a headache when i can just ask a question to the people who made it and can tell me exactly what it takes to take out a challenger. (I feel cheated out of that kill, but chit happens...). Who knows maybe somethign like this could come out to be a glitch or whatever, im just bugging out here.... dont hate me, il stop posting for a bit... just curious... jeez...

Just tested it on a local server. Tank, not damaged, 3 IED's under its rear.

no problem.

I've seen two do it. Squad mate put two at the airport exit, tank was rolling out, boom, tank dead.

Hmm... well, i can only say it was exactly 3 right under the rear side of the tank.

if you place 2 on a bridge with water on it and destroy the bridge the C2 will fall through.

Soucy, I'm pretty sure that they had figured that one out already.

This thread would have been much better had it been "it takes 3 IEDs to kill a C2". Not "WTF mate I needz to noz wutz killz the C2z!!111"

But seriously, no one else knows **** like this, just go test it yourself and find out.

Actually, it takes only one.

PR forums, where you'll either find people with lots of info or people waiting to berate you for asking a question.

I've seen that video of an Abrams taking an IED/mine, flying into the air, landing and driving away, so I'm sure both tanks can do it.

*Points to the commander placed assets and AA sitting on destroyable static buildings :p *
Anyways, as long as the bridge opening is big enough it should fall through. I think there is at least one map that has bridges with too small of destroyed openings causing the armor to get wedged into the opening.
