I posted several weeks ago about getting stats to work but no relevant information was given. My stats dont work. They dont work in the BFHQ or the stats counter for the community above. I changed nicks to see if that did anything and all it seemed to do was change my enlistment date.

Is there something i need to do to get these to work?

Are you playing on ABR enabled servers? If not then no matter what you do stats will not show. I don't know which servers use ABR, but checking that would be a start.

DL the abr client and open it up on your desktop to see which servers are running abr. ABR has not been working all the great lately anyway...BF2CC issues I imagine...

Not being funny here, but I thought pr was all about the fum and teamwork aspect of the game, not points. I don't think I've ever checked them for pr.
The only thing I like to check is were I came in that round I was playing last, just so I know if I've been **** as usual or on a good day, slightly better than ****.

Yeah..I agree, but many people like stats to gauge how they are improving their skills. Some people told me that their goal was to play better as medic and therefore stay alive more...by reviewing their stats they can see if they are succeeding or failing. Also, humans are by nature, competitive with regards to how they "stack" up against others...otherwise, there would be no Superbowl, Daytona 500..etc.

If ABR worked better, and more servers ran it, there would probably be more players., that being said, who cares. My goal is to just get in a good server with good players...I could care less about the stats...

IIRC there are a few servers running ABR and the stats are in fact recording, so i dont know if this bug has been fixed yet or not

very true

it would be a good way of getting more players. But then again who gives a **** about the stats just go have a fun teamplay round.

i don't really like the idea of stats for PR.. they just don't seem as relevant. Besides it wouldn't be really fair to the players who tend to play on non ABR servers (Windows based).

What are stats?

stats saying you are lietnant colonel and have over 3000 posts.

only server running abr atm are as far as i know thors brigade and TV2 servers.the stats are recording but not flewless, what means the stats are just wrong cause some rounds are not counted.
and to prerelease my opinion: whores are whores, if its been shown by a K/D or just when someone sits back and lets his mate take the risky job or doesnt told anyone that he was knifed. stats are good to have something additional to build up over the time.

Stats can be useful. As a general rule, squads with more points have been more useful to the commander and have been more successful. But personal stats are kinda pointless, except for e-penis value.
