Manual Spot for Soldier as list default position

When a squad leader wants to manually spot a target (spot button, right click, scroll to target type) any chance you can change the ordering of the list so that the soldier (currently last/bottom of the list) becomes the middle (or default) position in the list.

I find myself spotting soldiers more than tanks or APC and it is a mild annoyance having to scroll the selection bar to the bottom everytime you clap eyes on a soldier. Needless to say, this becomes a veritable coordination test when you come across a full enemy squad in the distance and you are simultaneously telling the squad what you've seen.

Not sure, perhaps by putting tanks right at the top and soldiers right at the bottom of the "spotted" list you are deliberately trying to induce a delay to manual spotting (for obvious gameplay reasons).

Cheers!

actually: poping up another comrose, containing the different target types would replace the scrolling, and increase the handling (but as you said, not sure if the delay is intended xD)

this is a good suggestion dont know how much work it would involve but i would guess a fair amount.

I don't normally spot infantry, just because the spot doesn't last long enough and where there is one infantryman there are almost always more. Normally I report direction, distance, and number, sometimes heading. Since you can only spot as SL you can place attack markers to tell your troops where to fire or to report an enemy. I find these two methods to be much more useful than spotting for enemies.
