Hey Folks, probably not the only one having the trouble.

When I load up a map half the time it doesn't even make it to the join game stage and crashes, other times it will make it and then crash when I either press esc or click the button.

Once I've joined the server If I get to that stage usually 1/10 I find my ping is 100+ higher than it used to be with any previous pr bf2 servers and keep getting kicked. Other errors do appear regarding punkbuster which I've tried to address but have had no success.

No doubt the development team know of these issues, fingers crossed they can sort it!! Really wanna play again

It's not a bug.It's "user error".

Try the Search button with "crash to desktop".

One of the resulting searches will correspond to your computer specs/problem but it's probably an installation error or you've got Vista (bad luck but someone's got to pay for Billy's new house).

u need CORE AND LEVELS installed

I actually purchased a new graphics card, 512mb so more than enough for the game. I can play BF2 Perfectly so....

Also I did have the Core and Levels installed

new gfx card? ok, try deleting your profiles folder then (keybindings will get lost):

also if the 512MB is gfx memory thats great but far not enuff as regular RAM

Try the search feature.

And it's still not a bug.
