Instead of having a big red truck with a silly looking bomb hanging off the back... how about something a delivery truck with a much bigger boom.. something like this.

Changing the bomb truck model would not really affect gameplay. It's a nice idea, but there are other models that need work first.

IED's and VBIED's are my favour thing about PR/Al Basrah, love playing that map.

A bigger louder explosion or dust cloud would be AWESOME.

That MOAB wuznt really that impressive... it was a huge bomb, but the explosion was minimal... i expected something huge, like that truck bomb.

Yeah... I do agree a new bomb truck model is in order. A big red truck with a bomb on the back just doesn't seem likely. I'd rather see the toyota truck or supplu trucks with some explosives in the back. In fact, just having random vehicles on the Insurgents spawn with explosives in them would add some nice variety, creating the possibility that practically any Insurgent vehicle can be a suicide one.

It wouldnt make a change in gameplay unless its near identical to the opposing teams command/support truck..

That's an awesome idea, as long as USI would let someone add a bomb to their supply truck. Adding some large explosive device, and maybe some other identifying marks, would be pretty cool. Like the insurgents stole a truck and rigged it to blow.

man, TBH the bomb trucks are nearly as powerfull as jdam. how about making such bomb trucks nearly as powerful as a jdam and give it a spwan time of 1h!!

the bomb truck can be destroyed by your enemy, your teammates, or even by poor driving, lets not forget it actually has to make it to its destination, the JDAM doesnt have those problems.

There's a Dump Truck that is already available in BF2. All it requires is some minor coding to finish it (3P views of the driver).

It's listed under vehicles/civilian/truck1. Would make an acceptable alternative to the current Semi.

That dump truck would really fit in Al Basrah. Afterall, much of Al Basrah looks like a construction site.
