I was pretty happy when I ve seen that now a delay of 5s is necessary before exploding a C4 charge.
My problem is that it s impossible to know when the safety delay is over, so, is it possible to add a red LED on remote changing to green when delay is over... that s quite pratical for engineer and adding some fun to play...
GREEN!..GREEN!..GREEN!..GREEN!..GREEN!..GREEN!..AAAHHHHH BOOM!!!!!!

PS : or perhaps a little sound that someone samples from his microwave oven???

Whats about you just count ?
1000..... 2000...... 3000...... 4000..... 5000...... BOOM !
Always works fine :-)

Yea you should count! and screw voip.. use this Image

:P

I love the idea. groovey lil blinky lights are all good imo :D if we had more animators perhaps it could have a green light with the safety catch on the trigger closed, then when the light goes red the guy flips up the safety catch... that'd be awesome :D

There's even a lil red light already... top left hand corner, just needs a bulb ;)

yep. Shouldn't require a huge IQ and works always.

i for one like the idea adds a nice touch. but instead of 2 leds just one that turns red when armed and is off when its not.

very constructive remark... :d uh:
But i m playing with teamwork so i must aware my squad mates, often avoid enemy, so counting is not a good option...
when a half second is the key to survive, this indicator should make easier the hard life of engineers... I can imagine that IRL there is some safety system similar to this.

Personally, having used the C4 extensively, I count to 5 seconds, maybe adding a couple seconds to be sure. But most of the time, if C4 is being used correctly, you're not going to need to deploy it EXACTLY 5 seconds from when you put it down. I think counting is very valid, although another light would be pretty cool.
