0.5 Basrah FTW Good old times.

My oldest SS is from 22nd july.
For some obscure reason, i emptied my folder just prior to that.
How i regret that...

Usmc win or phail was in no small part a direct result of the skill of the pilots back then.. If you had good pilots, the ground troops whoud not get JALALALALALLAAL-RUUSH`ed by what seemed to be a metric-Fu`k-ton of insurgents..

I'll never forget the round when I was in a squad with you and the =EURO= clan founder and we went right next to the airport with 2 SA-7s to shoot down all USMC air assets. Poor A10 pilot had to wait 15 minutes for the plane to respawn just to get shot down again in the next 15 seconds Then they got pissed and chased us with tanks and hummvees. It was hilarious

QFT! It may have been spammy with Rpg's, M203's At4's, Cobra's, A-10's, Etc etc. But holy shit was it fun! And teamwork was there!

Flying BHs all over the place, Cobras circling, A10 double teaming. shooting down the above said with t-62 or SA7. IEDing almost every car on the bridge. Epic.

Did searching, Inishail Forest was done by a TG member 2 years ago in a TG BF2 map competition, if you are ranting about that.

All the annoying stuff that was in 0.5, happened to me on Inishail...
The team going on one flag and getting H-AT sniped twice (only jeeps on that map, no armor)..
The hyperactive running speeds and grenadier spam...
Getting kicked as a sniper for high ping, because my connection had to fail, just as I sniped 5 PLA and didn't get spotted.

oh the memories, god i remeber .4 basrah, but .5 even more. the epicness

This was some riddle, it deserves eternity.

does anyone have pre 0.4 screenshots? Or the change logs from 0.1 to 0.4? I started playing at 0.5 and it would be interesting to see what was PR like in the very early stages.
I remember that to this day I couldnt ever play in extraction mode, because there were no servers running it... Oh and 0.5 Basrah was the best both on Insurgent or USMC side.
