Hi.

I just installed PR V0.7. I haven't played PR for a while so I was excited to install the new version and play on the new maps, etc.
I downloaded the core and levels setups and installed them from TV2 - Battle.no Portal - les hva som skjer

However, I only see about 5-6 servers with a decent amount of players in, and those servers have highish pings. I also see no populated servers running the new maps?

Is this right? or am I using the wrong patch?

The name of the download was pr_0708 -- Is that the latest patch?

yes 0.708 is the right one. Usually there is about 10 servers that are well populated.
You are in the UK so any euro server should be fine for you.

Check which boxes you're got ticked in the server filter. You may have the "Hide Full" and the "Hide Empty" boxes selected.

You tend to see a far larger number of players on euro servers after 1500hrs. But sometimes its a slow day

Also note that PR servers are most populated on the weekends.

12 hours ago when I checked there was 120 people playing with one full server. Now there is alot more

Theres over 100 servers altogether... but on any given day theres about 20 of them populated, and about 5-6 full during busy hours...

and those servers have highish pings

Depends on what you mean by "highish pings."

PRM isn't a twitch game so unlike say CS , TF2 , CoD4 etc you don't really need a <30 ping to enjoy it.

I consider anything <200 acceptable and don't seem to have any problems. Mind you , I don't use aircraft.

I've had excellent games with ping anywhere up to 150, and as many PR servers are in europe, pings that high are not rare at all. PR doesn't have a huge number of servers, don't expect pages of them.

well try checking ur filter ticks and exclude the one's u dont want ! like for example the full server !

or refresh a couple of times ! or sometimes the servers are not available at that moment so my guess is refresh the server list and im sure u will get the servers u want !
