Lol, I was watching this a few moments ago.

Just started playing Hall of the Mountain King on iTunes, it put me in the mood.

I love the interjection of "YOU NEED THE PILOT KIT!!!!1" which it clearly tells you on screen - Followed by the immediate clip of seeing a Littlebird tail falling into the sea.

I remember that. I couldn't play a serious game in any map that used transport helis for a month.

funny, but the sad part is that I was one of "them" for a little while....
After 2-3 crashes I understood that something had changed dramatically.

It was also by this point I realized that I was in love with pr. The fact that n**bs cant fly the choppers and skill is demanded in almost all aspects of the mod is what keep me playing day after day...

Wow, that SUCKS! I have never been in a game with quite that much nubbishness, but I will say that the video was quite entertaining. The whole LBs emptying as someone failed to take off was good.

I loved the shot of one of the Littlebirds circling on it's side on the surface of the aircraft carrier. It was just circling as the pilot struggled to take off.

What scares me most though, is that is actually happened on a real PR server, and it wasn't acting.

lol i used to be like them(ONLY for a round or two). i mean come on, admit it, we once were like that. weren't we!!!?

i miss muttrah so much, and the old school blackhawks pre-acceleration.


i have vivid memories of flying in squads on the transport little bird to the far left of the map dropping them off in 2 secs, and getting out. ahhhh good stuff.

What I meant was that after 2-3 crashes I had to do some research, like searching this forum. I didn't became a Xtr3m H4x0r 1337 super duper heli-ace after 2-3 crashes. Oh no, many players have gambled and lost their lives as passengers on my flights since then.

And yes, I believe we all were like that once. Some people then just gave up flying totally and other kept practicing and practicing....

I had a game exactly like this where there was about 10 of us that wanted to play properly and the other 20ish were just doing exactly this destroying copters that they don't know how to fly and throwing smoke

but to top it off they tried shooting the people who wanted to play properly and told them to stop pissing around

Aah back in the days

I remember me and friend called twain used to fly lots of our clan server just to be able to do perfect landings. We flew full rounds without dieing a singel time

I learnt to fly, by miracle back in 'Nam - And I don't remember any newbie mistakes like full-throttling into a cliff etc, I think I pretty much got the hang of it straight away, and used to spend rounds (Because it wasn't until BF2 was released that I realised rounds weren't won by magic; they were won by things called tickets!) skimming around roads in the chopper to test my abilities.

When I came to PR, I noticed the Blackhawk on Basra was harder than usual to fly, but within a few seconds I got a feel for it's gaunt, and I've ne'er had a problem since.

I say again; damn 'nilla-nubs.
