''trip'' flare for squad leader / pilot

The red smoke is to big and width and to easy to see!

my solution:

my idea is verry simple, Squadleader and pilot gets the ''trip'' flare ,the only thing is its going to be workin as ''smoke'' and will trigger 4 seconds after bein trowed. and maybe the red flare on the botton should be a little bit taller, like its goin trough the smoke

it would be good bein seen from the air and not that well from the ground. (somethimes was searchin for the flare, when i was on foot xD)

This way you can use it for multiple purposes.
1: Extraction (rescue missions too, in hostile territory)
2: Marking youre position
3: Markin enemie positions
4: Markin targets for friendlie tanks
5: Air support from choppers

Ah those sniper trip flares are cool. I'd be willing to lose the Flash's for those.

This has basically already been suggested....just down a different street. ;)
Trip flares, signal flares, signal smoke...they have been called different things...but the idea is the same.

becouse the titel is like trip flares doesnt mean its suggested before..
i got a good way to get rid of the big red signal smoke, in the way of less big tripflare smoke

He's not suggesting adding the trip flares to more classes.
If I understood it correctly, he would like to see signal grenades with visuals similar to trip flare.
