But for starters, make sure you have the correct installers (0.7 core and levels), and that they are installing to the correct directory.

i really want to play the game i start it up screen turns black then crashes to desktop

i think it might be cause i dont have the 1.41 patch but when i install the 1.41 patch bf2 crashes
