Will the devs actually add all of the community factions when they are done?

I just want to Know b/c I have been looking at the Canadian Forces mod and it looks almost 100% done.

from what I understand those that are good enough will be added.

To me, the Russians seem to be the most likely ones to be included first.

The IDF are pretty close too

CF is not quite 100%, skins have to finalized and objects imported. Soon, hopefully.

IDF will be the first, which will have the IDF(of course ) and the Hamas, Then Russian. Hopefully followed by the CF and Polish, the German still have things to get done. But progress is moving alone

Im really looking forward to the russian one I just hope they will make a Russian VS taliban map

I've been on and off checking out the Russian, Canadian, and Israeli mods and I have to say they're looking pretty sweet. Even if the DEVs don't put it into the release, I'm sure it will be played by many people, they're too awesome not to be.

IDF and Hamas are done. Everything is imported skinned and animated.
The only thing thats not complete is the (new) Merkava Mk4. because of some coding problems - its a tank and apc all rolled into one. Other than that its done. Now we are just adding stuff thats not needed for the first release, and testing our asses off of cause

Yup, these Community Factions look pretty awesome. These guys put in a hella lot of time and effort, and they'll be put in when they're finished and polished all shiny.

I'd be surprised if hamas went in, since they are terrorists and all. You can expect all sorts of idiots to turn up for the show.
I realise thats not the spirit it was made in but you can expect some trouble from it I think.
A simple rename is what I'd do but I'll enjoy playing all this new stuff either way so I look forward to it

Looks can be deceiving Still ALOT of work left to be done on the Canadians

Oh yea! I am so glad to hear that the IDF is done. I am really looking forward to all the community factions, the more the better!

I have only seen one Arabic Mujahudeen server ever.

why wouldn't they put this in the mod?! this is work being done FOR them, of course they will. anyway IDF looks like its about to be done, CF next, then russian, hopefully polish and on the end of course german and the US army (<<jk lol)

CF needs way more work than the russians, they actually only need some fixes for the T-80 and the scope and ugl variants of their AK-74M, everything else is done, they even have very good map that is almost finished (Dawn), and well, i think with the speed the germans develop, they might be finished before the Canadians are.

Please update! I would love to see the work of the Polish team

as far as the canadians go. i think if they don't get 1000 more modders and some new computer software donated by the other community mods. they may cut their committment short in 2009.
