Hi all.

Firstly I'd like to commend the creators of this excellent and very addictive mod. A job well done and no doubt, it has given me many hours, days, weeks and indeed now, years of enjoyment.

I have been a follower of PR since around v0.2 something and was wondering if any one still ran a server for the older versions of the mod. And if not would anyone be interested in playing the older versions?

Without meaning any offence to the present condition I think I preferred the game when there was one objective at a time, it centralized the fight and I found it better that way. I'm not trying to superimpose my views on the community but merely express what I liked. I still love the game as is but it would be nice to be able to load up the/an older version, one of the ones that grabbed the earlier members with such vervour as was expressed at the time.

I think it was around v0.24-0.25 that I bit the hardest with this mod.

If I thought there would be a following I would host it myself.

I sincerely hope I have given no one any offence with my questions, it is not my intention to do so. I still play and thoroughly enjoy the present version of the game.

Do the old versions even work when you got the newest BF2 patch? There were problems with a few old mods if i remember correctly.

Is that the only reason? Cause that is just based on how the maps are designed.

They don't make nostalgia like they used to any more.

Think you'd need to set up a virtual machine for each different install and boot to which one you want to usae.Mucho bug ring about.
