I think the pilots should be able to lase a target

so, you all know that squad leaders can lase a target with the SOFLAM. why not add this to the jets and the helicopters? this is sort of what planes do in real life anyway. it would be really cool because then you can have active laser designation

In one way I like this, in another way I don't.

for 1 seater airplanes, I think there should be like a window in the lower corner of the screen that moves with the mouse.

Attack choppers gunner can fire a laser marker so does the copilot of a little bird. but the pilot it self cant. There is no need for it anyway.. just shoot with laser-guided mode instead of laser-target mode.

What they really need to do is fix the lasers so they actually act like real lasers, that's all I'm really worried about.
Other than that maybe add a 2 seater jet with TV guided missiles and fun stuff.

As for the one seater jets, just give the A10 rockets and like 4 Jdams and the frogfoot could have the laser guided missiles (and the 2 Jdams or whatever) since his cannon isn't as good against armor.

wouldn't that be a little over powered..?

Not sure, which part?
Like I said the only thing I really care about in this case is the damn Star wars' 30 feet per second lasers.

Dont start this discussion again.. You can fly just fine with both stick and KB&M.

Ok, I wont, i would agree that both have + sides.
Back on topic, shouldn't this have been on the suggestions forum before being closed by a moderator for lack of "search" usage?
[hint]
Edit (to make me sound less harsh):
Joystick FTR

This wouldn't be easy to do for the 1 seater planes, and is already implemented in helos. Laser does need some work, but it's been applied just about everywhere it can be used.

true, although it needs some tweaking here and there
