What do you think the MEC "nation" is like?

Based on real-life information and ingame plot-lines, what do you think the Middle Eastern Coalition is like as a country?
I personally think that the MEC is a Pan-Arab nation with a modest economy, advanced technology, and an unradical religious viewpoint. I also believe that the MEC's main centers of government would be located somewhere in Iran.
Based on the Middle-East today, Iran can be considered the "powerhouse". While they might not have the best economy in the Middle-East, they have a stable one, and they are technologically up-to-date, both in their military and otherwise. That thinking is what leads me to believe that, should a nation such as the MEC form, the government centers would be located somewhere in Iran. As for the government itself, I would only assume that it would be some form of democracy-authoritan government, kind of like what we see in Iran and Iraq.
Economically wise, the MEC obviously have a reasonably stable economy, as they are pumping out all of these military weapons, and are able to purchase military technology and the such as well. I would only assume that they recieve alot of profits from all of the oil supplies in the Middle-East.
Socially, I think that the MEC is relaxed on the strict Islamic rule that we see in many Middle-Eastern countries today. I mean, they aren't driving "c4 jeeps" into enemy armor columns in the game of god. However, I would only guess that they have anti-Israeli sentiments. I mean, in Jabal Al-Burj, the MEC military is protecting an insurgent bomb-building factory they use to attack Israel with.
Diplomatically, they must have some ties with China, as they are both in a war against the USA/Britian/others. They also must have some diplomatic ties with Libya, as thats where the Al Kufra oilfields are, and the MEC military is defending there.
