Enemie cp

i don't know but i think if you hit your map key
i don't think that you should be able to see the enemie controlled points.
i think if your team does not control that point then there should be no flag present until your team takes control of that point
from what i read in the manual your team can gain ip points to gain intel on the enemie not just in the Insurgency game mode.
i think it will add a more cautious squad field advancement
what i mean is has is know you would high tale it to the next point
with this idea your squad would move more cautiously to an advanced point on the map
i think it make for further reality
just a suggestion

I dont think I understand what you are saying.

Flags are always in the same place, if you played the map at least twice you know exacly where they are. So if your sugestion would make it and enemy flags would disapear people would still know where they are, and that they are in hands of enemy cause they wouldnt be shown on the map...

No, I really don't get it. Either its bad idea or Im not capable of understanding it completly.

Would be a bad idea (especially for newcomers) if the CPs within your team's next AAS group didn't appear on the map.

If anything, I think "back flags" (CPs that aren't in the current AAS order) should not appear on your team's map. This would be done to hopefully keep people from thinking they can attack someone's main base. Or at the very least, use the FH2 system where flags that can't be taken have a crossout marker over them.

The idea is a little strange, the flags are just representations of control over strategic locations, you know where the locations are anyway since the scenario entails taking particular parts.

Its not like the british or whoever lost all their maps and just moved forward in a blind stab for victory.

I second your second of that idea. If there could be placed flags/hardpoints introduced that wouldnt apear on the map only after recon squad reveals it. And to capture it you need to kill the guys inside and destroy something, than.. advance. That would be interesting.

well maybe not even that, just have the players/commander dictate where the fighting happens , would make recon and patrolling ALOT more useful

Yes. Thats a good one. Similar ideas come out from time to time. I believe I was the first one that made such a suggestion, but I was ignored at that time. Seems like people are growing up ;P

I still disagree with original idea of this thread in which we are posting ;P
