The Apache Longbow, as it is now, by OwnRize. Some minor changes from the original. It lost the sidewinders, as the Dutch don't use those.
Couldn't put "ISAF" on it, because one side would be mirrorred, looks odd .

Yeah way to dark, but you say the skin is mirrored?

The RNLAF logo should be on the engine and the tailboom should say KONINKLIJKE LUCHTMACHT, see picture below.

True m8 - I am going to work on that now. I am not happy enough what I see atm. I will create the new one soon.
However there is 1 problem. If I put text on the tailrotor it will be mirrored on the other side. It will look ugly. Same reason as why we didn't put the ISAF text on it.
The only thing that I can do is putting the logo below the cockpit and make the logo on the engine.

ive discussed it with AfterDune just now, for nw we will go with the right text and logo on the correct position, wont really matter if its mirroed on one side, who will actualy look and complain? its more about the render well make of the right side

Though if it's really awkward, we'll think it over again .

Ok - I am finished with the new texture. Now I just need to wait if Afterdune can check it out now.

Another tip: The Royal Netherlands Air Force does have AH-64D's, but they never bought the Longbow radars (the dome on top of the main rotor), so it should be left off.

We know but that would mean UVmapping and skinnen the apache from scratch, since we only have 1 UVmapper and to UVmap takes ages and its a dirty job that noone like to do we will stay with the longbow apache for now.

Glimmerman, didn't you say the Netherlands are going to get the Apaches that have that radar? Good. And PR is set a tiny bit in the future, so this is fine as it is .

well where getting them in 2009/2010 then the first will arrive so where fine whit this model
