My clanmate said we use the YPR more often than the CV-90 if that one is in use anyway..

Its in use, and your clanmate is right.
But were going a bit to the future right? Sometime soon all YPR will be replaced.

Yeah ofcourse we should look a little forward..

but if we make maps with offensives in 2007 we shouldn't place these vehicles in those maps..

We have the CV90 over there, in small numbers.
Same goes for the NH90.

One of the Black Sand Studio Partners is Northern Conflict, perhaps they will lend us theirs.

Only the main gun needs to be adjusted as far as i can see to a 35mm cannon instead of a 30mm.

The picture in the first post is a prototype not the vehicle that is currently being delivered to the army. I was promised a walkaround a while ago by someone of the 44th, I'll post them here when I get them.

To adress some other points. The first unit will be trained on the CV9035NL by June 2008 so it's possible they'll be shipped to Afghanistan by 2009.

We already have some though, ive seen a few.

I recieved the armex magazine which has 4 full pages about the CV9035. With pictures of today. Also there is some nice juicy text about it operational fuction etc etc.

I will try to scan it today!

Hello guys, I saw this topic (and KPs post by coincident).

First of all, congrats on the approval of the dutch community mod.

What KP posted (which I posted a while ago) was the result of a few hours modeling of the basic shape (which isnt accurate at all at the curret point).
As things are right now, it will not be completed - I have SO much work to do, IRL and other projects I have become involved in.
So the UV mapping of the RPG-29 and a two other small projects will be my last work for PR this time around - I'll of course drop by the forums from time to time to see how things are, but work I am done with.

As I said, the CV90 KP posted was the result of a few hours work - something any modeler can do, so it shouldnt be that big a deal to start from scratch.
I could supply the modeler with a whole lot of reference photos when that time comes.

There's a small number of them in service now, I saw one in Februari when I was visiting the militairy base near Oirschot, but I'm not sure if it belongs to 13th MechBrig.
