Gonna make this short. Don't know much about tanks, but i do know this. If a challenger shoots at a building and the building is destroyed.... would the insurgents inside the rubble be considered dead? i understand if I'm blowing up a huge building and part of the building is blown up, the person inside could have been way in the back of the building and not necessarily be hurt that much. But when i shoot a small one story building that has two insurgents... they are laying down there staring at me like "Oh... guess we have to move now", they get up and walk away like i just offered them swiss cheese. I myself as insurgent was in that position and had absolutely no damage. Is that realistic? In my sense a person would be buried to death by the rubble itself. Its not plastic were talking about here... I have seen scenes that showed a tank clearing out a building that was a bloc per say and off course that took a few shots. But when hes taking out a small house or compound... well... nothing much inside is left. Wrong assumptions? What do you think?

Seems weird, but I assumed it was representing the soldiers surviving the collapse. It's normally better to pour MG fire into them, any ways.

I think its the engine, say you shoot the outside, the blast acts like it hit one of the indestructable vBF2 walls, so the men inside are unharmed unless you hot a shot through the window so the explosion was inside

I can live with it atm but I agree with you, but I expect there is a problem getting it to work right with both tanks and MGs.

I've been buried by rubble before O.o

I was MEC, me and 4 other squad mates were taking North Village in Kashan, when suddenly an A-10 swooped to kill us! The building was instantly destroyed, two of my squad lay dead in the building with me, but strangely I was buried underneath the rubble...I had a tank sit next to me and look for my other squad members who took the flag with me, but we managed to cap

So it is possible to be buried, but I'd say HEAT the building, then coaxle the hell out of it.

Happened to me before. Tank shot the building and my only damage was from falling 1 story.

I agree, seems a bit unlikely in real life. If enough damage is done to collapse the building, you can bet that everyone inside will at least be incapacitated.
