Any chance of PR getting these weapons?

I was just wondering if PR was planning to include any of these: MAC-10, MAC-11, UZI (various models), MossBerg shotgun, Foreign models of the MP-5, or .22 caliber rifles? I understand that some of these are commonly available and would make excelent additions to the Milita and insurcency. These are just ideas so please dont flame me.

The point would be to add diversity in weapons models, mabey some of these could be pickup kits. I just want to add diversity and realism.

I second that. Yeah, a little variety could be added, but I'd rather see it by adding full factions to PR, not randomly giving weapons out.

x2

I think we can trust the devs to apply themselves to the issues of PR in order of priority.

Mac10 for insurgents, all the (gangster wannabe)smacktards will be trying to do drive-bys.

Not a bad idea though I'd like a mossberg.

Haha, wouldnt that be funny to see a MAC-10 wielding insurgent drive by a landrover with a .50 cal?

.22's would add diversity like you said, but i think the question here is would a 22 be able to take down some1. the farther you are away from some1 the more time the bullet has to slow down (iirc) and .22 is a small calibre to begin with

5.56mm -> .22 Caliber.

more weapons that do the same exact thing aren't going to make the game any better. its all about changing the gameplay, which because of the new airstrike system (to my knowledge, you can laze a target in any other game out there), project reality is officially awesome

Well, the advantages of having an uzi as opposed to an AK-47 are: recoil, rate of fire, mobility, and ease of use. Instead of carying an AK which is loud bulky and has alot or fecoil use an SMG which has a fast rate of fire, low recoil and versatility. Just a thought

you forgot to mention that past 50 yards you can't hit shit with a mac-10 and even if you did the 9mm would feel like a slap on the wrist. There's a reason why militias and insurgents don't use small caliber weapons.

Yeah, you really do notice that extra 3 thousandths of an inch :wink:
5.56mm -> .22 Caliber.
For the record, 5.56 = VERY high velocity .22 round. That's what makes the difference. A .22 long doesn't have the velocity to penetrate a bullet resistant vest at range, which is the job the .223 was originally created for. A .22 long will hurt you, but it's not a particularly lethal round. If we issued our troops .22 rifles Kenwayy would be down in washington kicking down doors for a better rifle, not just informing the population of the PR forums.
