For the APCs taken from BF2, you're not actually in a compartment, you're just behind a viewport.

I agree that death cam should be gone, in all its variations.

The rotation can be updated for many vehicles I believe by manually tinkering with keymap settings - binding a mouse axis to rotate or roll, if I remember rightly.

The deathcam thing is something that's been suggested for quite a while. I wouldn't worry about it too much :D

For US or british show a tunnel with white light, for insurgents display many female virgins then :)

For many of the vehicles view rotation can be increased, but for the 3 APCs taken from BF2 there are some issues. Those of you who use widescreen fixer may have noticed some funny business with the WZ551, that's because there's a slight number of polys given over to making the viewport, beyond that it's invisible from the inside. So the whole room thing doesn't work.

Anyhow, the only thing I really think needs more rotation are some of the APC seats (mainly the warrior), either that or they should all face inside the vehicle.

Already thought about freelook before. It's really easy to change max rotation, but some vehicle's 1p cockpits are not modeled completely, the're only modeled in front. So sometimes the camera has a restricted rotation range just in order to hide those 'defects'. But in other cases it's easily changeable.

Freelook? Make do until every vehicle has a fully rendered interior... not sure when that'll happen, if ever :p
