New Changes Suggestions for PR !

hello guys !

i have alot of idea for PR ! and im goin to lay them down and see what u guys think and hopefully get to like the devs to put them in game

-this should apply to pilots and squad leader and commander . they should have a flare gun . shoot it in the air and viola the pick up can see u :) i mean by pick up a BH or little bird .

-second is that ! pilots should have binoculars , we wont use them in the air of course , but if we crash (GOD FORBID :P ) we need to locate things around , enemy , covering area's , ....etc .

- i see alot of black hawk pictures on google , they have missile's on board and mini guns ! as for addin missile's they should be quit limited and used by a SOFLAM ! like 2 to 4 rockets at the most :)

THIS IS SO IMPORTANT ! i wish it can be done :) , i see like in movies or in the beginning of the lovely crysis that the pilot says green light in 10 seconds , now can we add some kind of a speaker or a msg to everyone in a air transport , and tell them by our own mics or msg's. added by devs !

and the other thing , adding on the black hawks , different numbers ! like 1 and 2 and 3 ...etc , that would help in talking to the guys inside , like guys in BH1 plz stop shooting mini guns :P . or BH! is for transport and BH is for evacs ....etc :)

hope those ideas work pretty good 8-)

cheers

1. (Flare gun) Not really. Smoke nades do the job, landing zone markers, chat, commander voip... so maby ways already

2. (Binocs) Depends on if they are used in real life. I know the situation, but does a pilot have binocs?

3. (Rockets) No, they should be transport only

4. (Countdown Sound via voip) Hardcoded and pretty useless.

5. A new skin for every single black hawk? I doubt its worth the work.

1-well flares is a gd idea , i agree red smoke do serve alot of things , but i feel that the flare is abit more real .

2-and pilots dont have binocs :) . and in real life it would help .

3-damn ! its hard-coded , i was actuely hoping for this to work .

4-i dont think it requires a new skin for just editing on the one we have already .

thanks mate for the reply

1. Blackhawks with rockets are very uncommon, and only used by 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (I'm not even sure if they still use them) just like generally blackhawks with miniguns.(the one with rockets is called MH-60L Direct Action Penetrator and the ones with Miniguns are MH-60K Black Hawk / Pave Hawk)
the marines will get a Huey (UH-1N) in one of the next releases.
when the army will come into PR, they will use the blackhawks, but perhaps get a more common version with M240H MGs, sorry, no chance for 1337-Blackhawks :-P

and btw, the version shown in BF2 is completly wrong! it has element of a Blackhawk and elements of a Seahawk, with miniguns, in that way it isn't used by any part of the US Forces

u realy know this pretty good , guess ur in the army or something  .
umm i loved the UH-1N , as for me i love piloting and driving those guys on the map . the UH-1N looks faster , flexible in movements , and thats what we need for extraction or a pick up , get the guys and leave !

as for not adding the missile's i added that on the menu just as a possible option , wouldn't care that much about it :) .

1. Flares, smoke, etc. have been suggested before....there is already a "request pickup" feature in the game, that places a marker on the pilots minimap.

2. I dont think it is practical for pilots to carry binos. There is limited space in a cockpit. Also...there job is to remain in the air period. Their kit should consist of bare necessities and survival items...binos just dont fit.

3. While I am sure their are some Blackhawk variants that do have missle pods....I just dont see them as practcal in PR.

4. You could always join a squad, and be their designated pilot....and give the countdown over your mic....otherwise....I think the other posters are right.

5. I agree with the other posters....having the "cookie-cutter" is the easiest thing.....dont see them skinning a helo 1 or a helo 2 or a....

As in chuteys jumping from really high altitudes in c130s that hold like more people than you can have in BF2.

Im afraid these suggestions are either re suggestions, hard coded or are not practical/ realistic to the forces portrayed in the Mod.
It's probably a good idea to do a little bit of research before posting, mentioning the source where you got your info from (Wiki isn't full proof).

Thread locked for the above mentioned.
