This video is an example of why sometimes I loose interest in pr. I don't know if it can be fixed or what but just watch how hard it is to sometimes kill people.

Amazingly enough, 1 Bullet rarely kills. If it doesn't hit the heart or brain, it won't kill instantly. IMO the damage is perfect where it's at, because it's realistic, and keeps gameplay fun. If every gun killed me in one shot, I'd never leave the main base.

no its not what the devs have it set on at all, its just the engine which sucks because it really steals your kills.

Yeah, BF2 really have some problems. Sometimes my hits register just fine and Im popping heads like crazy, and other time I cant hit even If Im sitting there and aiming for 10 secends.
Its a common hit box problem with BF2... unfortunetly unfixable (at least not completly) to my knowledge.

Didn't look too outrageous to me. The first guy he shot at looked like he should have gone down, but like warmagi said, that's hit box most likely. Overall, I think that was fairly normal looking.

It's the hitbox gods, when ever you shoot they are on their side, but when they shoot at you, the hitbox gods always manage to be generous.

Exactly, hit box, not PR.
It sucks, it blows, it takes your mom out for car rides late at night and doesnt bring her back until 5am, but that's just how the BF2 engine works...

I'd suggest the other problem - other than HB detection - is simply the deviation. About three times in that vid I saw the guy line up on a tango and immediately shoot the second the obelisk fell on the target instead of allowing his sights to settle briefly.

But if it's a deviation problem, then it shouldn't even hit then should it?
What I'd really like to see in PR with weapon damage is if you get hit once you get knocked down to a prone (or crouching) position and twist your viewpoint by a few degrees, instead of allowing you to keep running or shooting accurately etc.

That video reminds me of when I'm playing like a n00b. A little more patience is required in 0.7, I've been working on it myself.
