Time limit

i was just watching videos of apaches doing those cool runs where they take out unsuspecting rabbles of insurgents and blow up vehicles with weapons in the back and stuff...

And what i noticed was that those guys on the ground are moving so calm and slowly. See the difference between them and us in the game are they have been treking around all day and for weeks and are kind of exausted. Because life in a warzone doesnt stop and start as easily for them as it does for us.

So what would happen if we simulated that, how about we have huge time limits and tickets on the big maps, like instead of 4 hours, we have 3 days.

Do you think that would make people calm down more and use their heads?

No. Noone would play 3 days. They'd play a hour and disconnect.

Course it wouldn't. Players move quickly because:
a) they can (the game allows them to)
b) they want to

Gameplay with a good SL and squad should already be at a fairly slowish pace, unless they're having to hot-foot it across the map to get to an undefended flag.

Even if the round takes six years to complete, players will still rush headlong in whatever direction they want to go in.

hmmm...good point, but it begs the question, what can be done about this?

A suggestion I've made elsewhere is to see if there's a way to link the stamina bar to the deviation system.

That would make anybody with very low stamina from sprinting everywhere less accurate than somebody who was calmly trotting and taking their time to get places.
