hello mates :)

well i posted this on the discussion form , and i thought i should make a thread for it here ! now when we drive those BH's on the battlefield ! some dumb noobs or even guys who like to screw around , take those mini guns and start shooting around ! so its either we remove them and make only for transport ! or my next cool suggestion 8)

NOW MY REAL COOL SUGGESTION ! *drumroll*

if we can make the second seat (next to the pilot) use those mini guns ! as for how ! if the devs can add a screen for both mini guns (same as the cobra for the gunner seat) and he can shift between them by 1 and 2 buttons ! and so on that when a BH is landing the guys down there will see 2 pilots driving the black hawk which is more to the real life !!!

my other suggestion if the above works is changing how those mini guns look ! they arent that real ! i got a picture here for an example !

http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/black-hawk-9.jpg

check it out ! and i love that bag on the left for the ammo cassings to pop out  !

so tell me what u guys think about this :)

Co-pilot CROWS style controlled miniguns? Realistic? Look at the picture you posted.... Then read your suggestion again.

How's this going to stop noobs firing the miniguns? All this would do is half the chance that there's a noob in control of the minigun but double the number of miniguns he can control....

Cool suggestion? *drumroll*

Nope.

Uhm.
The door guns aren't operated by the co-pilot IRL either.

So you're asking if it CAN be done. You're not suggesting that it SHOULD be done?

If this isn't the case, maybe your idea went the wrong way. lols

The dev team doesn't do things because they look cool or would be fun when it comes to vehicles. They do things because they're realistic. Since the door guns on a Blackhawk are not remotely controlled, such a system won't be implemented in PR.

I beleive that's a Mk19, they wouldn't use such a small canister for the miniguns because of their rate of fire

Nope, the Mk-19 does not have a helicopter door mount in service with the US. One has been under development, but not sure how far along. The weapon pictured is an M240D or M60D machine-gun. The M240D is the most common weapon on regular Army Aviation Blackhawks.
