If every other army and the militia get spec ops why cant we? Now please hear me out. He doesn't have to have anything fancy, Just something along the lines that makes him a bit better then the average soldier.
I really dont care what the load out just as long as he has a carbine and a grapple.

That wasn't an argument for a spec ops class, that was just a plea, a cry if you will.
Anyhow, the insurgents are a whole team of soldiers that are designed for unconventional warfare. Adding a spec ops class would make no sense within the team, and wouldn't serve to make it any better either.

Well whats to keep one guy from getting a carbine a grapple, some explosives, And going behind the current enemy positions to harass them?
Dont tell me the brits cant be harassed and intimidated because the airport is off limits.
I used to do it all the time in .5 and to some extent in .6. Now i just rig the road with ied's or more likely get a the mosin and aim for the drivers in the exposed jeeps.
The real reason i was an insurgent spec ops is for a carbine for them, I'm starting to hate the AK47 more and more.

My question is: what would this spec ops kit bring that isnt already ingame?
I would have thought the current IED kits coupled with SVD kits provide as much harrasing capability to be realisitc and do the job of this spec op kit.

Nay on the Ops kit.
It used to be that the MEC where responsible for the insurgency (uprising) and the squad leaders where MEC special operatives.

this is more or less what i was going to suggest. similar in the way that we {the US} train fledgling armies from other countries with our special forces, you can put an MEC special forces on the insurgent side to simulate the special forces op that would be training the insurgents. complete with ak74 carbine, and grapple etc. and since it would be a request kit, it would be very limited. you can even use the mec special forces model from the specia forces expansion pack.

I guess the rationale would be something like regular army soldiers continuing the guerrila war after being defeated

Make better arguements?
And I say no to the idea also, a few kits have SKS Carbines and the Civi has a grapple
Together? With a help from a teammate playing said civi, you can achieve a lot of things.

I had assumed this is where the war vet kit came in.
