Few suggestions

First off: Hello, and thank you for making the best BF2 mod out there.

Now.

First off: Communication.
We could use some communication between SL's to plan attacks more effectevly and to get some squadwork going(teamwork between squads).
Then we need a vehicle chat, so we don't have to spoil team chat for dropoff locations. (If we get vehicle chat, I don't think SL chat is needed, tough SL's messages should have different colour, like white)

Second: Supression.
Tone the damn effect down!

Third: movement:
The movements speeds and running speeds are perfect.
Only you should use a different way to stop bunnyhopping. Maybe replace jumping with climbing. It's annyoing to jump onto some building and then listen to the ultrafrequent phanting for half a minute.

Fouth: Misc.

Annoyances:
Every now and then I confuse the friggin squad button with enemy team button and I change my team and get the "Haha, you'll respawn in 12351796412964186398126 times infinitve seconds. go make a sandwich or something."
Replace the friggin' thing with "Can't join enemy team, sorry, stay on this one."
Seriously, then I disconnect and reconnect and see, that my squad is full and that new SL is sending my men to death. And sometimes after I spawn I die! And soon after I'm kicked for not joining a squad.

Another one is that after I disconnect to get food, I'm banned till next map. (Tacticalgamer server)

The normal classes capacites are retarded! Even real army has one LMG per 4-5 men, but we have around 5 for 32 men! Every damn squad should have atleast one grenaider, AT and LMG!

If possible, could we make mines less visible by using well known formula shovel + mine = hidden mine.
Maybe make only the fuse visible.

Would be nice if field dressings were restockable.

How about making rearming vehicles like going to ammo place, picking ammo up and dropping to hummvee/APC/tank/choppa/plane. But I don't think that's a good idea, since we need all those 32 persons out on the field. But It'd be nice.

Maybe a new gamemode. After you capture the flag, you have to get ammo or fuel or something from it to main base. That would give players a reason to hang around and would give us a lot more convoys and ambushes, wich are awesome.

/suggestions. Thank's for reading.

EDIT: frogot one:
How about taking prisoners? So they could give out some information about where their forces are piling or where his squad is.

Okay, for a start check the already suggested suggestions thread at the top of this forums. Then search before you post a new thread as most of these ideas have been covered before.

1) Hardcoded.
2) Haven't tried the new patch yet but it looks brilliant.
3) You want to animate a new climbing animation? Jumping's fine.
4) With buttons, that's "hardcoded" to the player...
5) Server issue so try the Server section.
6) The kit limits I think are now at almost perfection. They've been tweaked over a long period of time to get them to this state.
7) I like the hidden mine idea :D
8) Pretty sure Dressings are restockable.
9) Not understanding this point, doesn't read that well.
10)Wait for scenario game mode, that'll be just the ticket.
11)Civies can already captured but I'm not sure how you'd be able to get a bonus in game for "capturing" an enemy soldier.

About the gamemode I tough something about
1) capture a flag
2) get supplies from the flag to main base/somewhere else using supply trucks
3) awesome convoy and ambush action
4) ???
5) profit.

Climbing:
I think we could do it without the facy animations for awhile.
Just near wall, can climb up to 2m wall, just normal jump animation, in FPS maybe the animation when sprinting.

Please refrain from calling the current kit limitation system "retarded". Especially when you completely contradict yourself....

32 man team. 5 six man squads. Each of which can have a grenadier, a rifleman-at, a support gunner and a marksman.

Where's the problem???

Gotta love new players that come in and assume their ideas are worth listening to.

Surprised at the lack of these threads, though -- lots of players on, but hardly the outcry we heard over SL spawn removal in .7.
