Huey,Ironsights feedback

First Off,once again, good job PR team on the fix!
Huey:
Is nice and all,but I'd like to see some weapons on side...Like a Minigun,M240,M249,or something mounted on side for a "window/door gunner"...And in future maybe even some Hydra's/Miniguns?
And I thought Huey's weren't used in combat ops. anymore,I'm pretty sure they only use them for transport and maybe recon now...
Ironsights:
They all look good, but I must say,I think the original M249 SAW MkII,and PKM ironsights looked better...

The News Page wrote:Paramedic's "Operation Archer" was originally intended to be the first map to feature the Canadian Forces Community Mod. However, considering that our forums are flooded with requests for new maps, it will be featured in the 0.75 release. It will have the USMC in our insurgency game mode fighting a talibanesque force in a mountainous region of Afghanistan. It boasts a vast view distance, heavily fortified checkpoints, hidden caves and not to mention a huge central village composed almost entirely of destructible shacks and buildings.
And Hueys are still very much in front line service with the Marines as the General Purpose helicopter. Hopefully we'll see some armed variants in later versions of PR.

There are only 100 operational UH-1s in USMC inventory (
UH-1 Iroquois (Huey)), as compared to 291 CH-46s (
CH-46 Sea Knight Helicopter [H-49]). Given the sheer numbers, as well as the increased payload of the CH-46, it seems like the CH-46 would be a much more likely ride. Or the CV-22, since that has a very high chance of being the primary method of air transport for marines after the next 5 years.
As far as weapons on the helos, I stand by my comment in another thread: Putting weapons on transport helos makes people do stupid things, like trying to kill things with them.
I like the new LMG sights, they obstruct my view much less, and overall much more pleasant to look at.

I don't want to be an a-hole but SKS ironsight looks a little bit asymmetrical

I like the new sights in general. Eventually, I hope pistol sights get redone for MEC and PLA.

Usually maps with a carrier.

Heheh you're the first (and likely the most appropriate) person to bring that up
I was flicking through the iron files after the release and noticed that the 'placeholder' sight for the QBZ was actually from the G36 series, of which when remaking it, I used it as a base, hence total inaccuracy
I apologise, but maybe you could PM me some good QBZ iron references?

Unfortunately, the UH1N model we have never had the appropriate weapon mount modelled on it
But it's a possibility that we'll add one onto it for a future version.

I really don't like the new ironsight :/ Don't know why but I think they just look bad, I never shot any of the weapons in PR and im sure the new ironsights are realistic but I still want the old once back (at least for the SKS)

Really? Seemed to make sense to me. I'm interested in seeing what they're like for real.

Then surely you are contradicting yourself by wanting guns added to the sides?

Most of the Iron sights look good. I have a question about the AK-47 though.
Why was it stretched out and tampered with in dimensions. The vanilla AK model was always "lack luster" to begin with, now it just so much worse.
Actually its so ridiculous looking, I refuse to use it lol

Its almost cartoonish.

Nice job with the Huey Trahn...some of those migs and other EOD stuff might fit in here as well.
Off topic we got a new PR sig somewhere?
