Sniper Riflemen

Iv heard that PR want to make the game less of a sniper feast leading to more fire fights, which is why bullet deviation has been altered, Well I thought that instead of altering bullet deviation could alter the magnification for the riflemen scopes that would get the result your looking for much more easily then altering deviation.

all magnification levels are set to RL specs. Not going to change any time soon.

rifles are very accurate, hence why the most rifles are now equipped with scopes in r/l to take full advantage of this.
the reason why the feel like snipers is because the view distance ingame is not per real life, something we just have to live with.
deviation was added in to simulate "weapon sway" as a real life rifleman would take a few seconds, epically after running afew meters would take a little time to get his weapon steady and into a good firing potion. Unfortunately we cant have true weapon sway in bf2 so this is the best alternative.
in v0.6 etc the rifles fired as if they where in a vice, not the hands of a human.

I think it's great the way it is now, if I am setup somewhere and you are less than 300m away, I should be able to put accurate fire on you. It's not a snipe fest either, I don't see people going down from single shots at any range using the rifleman kits.
And the suppression addition prevents people from trading shots from hill tops until one of them gets hit. If I see you first and put accurate fire on you or near you, you are at a huge disadvantage and you can't just look around and find me and return accurate fire. The way it works now is the best it has ever been.
