Its been a good few days now of full server action, and quite a few war stories appeared to have come up. Tell your tales in here, and try not to Bullsh*t too much...

My favourite so far was on Dalian plant (think it was, Dalian, a large chinese vs USA map in a valley [not dragon valley]), where a PLA squad were practically surrounded by armor, MBT's, APC's, DPV's, an entire brigade was coming straight at them, so me and another chopper pilot grabbed our seats and flew as fast as we could, in V formation (can you have a formation with two helos?) to pick up this squad. Before I know it, I see a tank round fly right into the helo infront of me, shrapnel and helo flying all infront of my screen. I dodge it, and carry on towards the base.

i see my spot which i set for landing infront of me, and allready a fierce firefight is ensuing. At least two SAWs were surpressing the squad across a wide open area. I set myself down infront of the squad, who ran in and immediately gave covering fire, and jumped in, thanking me for doing such a daring rescue. Extracted the squad and landed safely back home.

Teamwork to the max I know but I felt soo good after doing it, made me feel like part of a team! That is what PRMM is all about!

What are yours guys? There must be some beauties around here somewhere?

I just got off one of the best games I've ever had!

I would like to commend [9thInf]Sgt.Johnson for leading us, with his excellent use of *working* tactics! Also, notorious and quasim0t0 for being good parts of the squad.

We were playing in Strike of Karkand, which was basically a giant tug-of-war.

I'm not sure there was any moment that particularily stood out, but one thing that was particularily fun was the defense of the Train Wreck. From what they were saying, the opposite team was particularily in disarray, with few people playing in squads, which is what, as most of us know, is actually key to winning. The squads that were working were right behind out flank, on the bridge leading to the Train Wreck, hiding in the left tower.

With the help of smoke grenades, I was able to crawl up to the murder hole in the tower, pop a grenade in and storm with my assault rifle. Unfortunately, I only had 2 rounds left in my clip, but that's where the knife kills came in :) .

Last week,

We were USMC in the Oasis map.

High noon in the desert and we had started out well, securing the enemy oilfield in a matter of minutes....almost seemed to easy. We all took up position on the west hill and began using our approaching enemy for a ritualistic target practice.

Well it seems as though they were not the defedning patrols we were sent to evict. As we sat idley by shooting over the hill, the organised squads of the MEC had infiltrated our firebases to the south and hi-jacked, our assult vehicles.

Soon we were surrounded, with their men on the .50 cals we didn't stand a chance against their planned strike, and soon ended back at home base. From here it was a struggle, they had a plan now, and it was working.

My squad moved towards the oasis and tried to break their defenses with no success, it seems none of us could place a shot, keep cover, or stay alive.

Bodies and confusion lay all over, hollowed and blackend remains of our once powerful support vehicles lended what shelter was left. Then, when all seemed a loss for the USMC, something happend that I had never seen before, a moment of beauty only a hardend soldier could understand.....

My squadmates joined me in a slow flank to the east side, crawling across the hot desert sand towards a blownout jeep.....we edged closer. Visible now is the dusty remains of a small village cropping over a small waterhole. The way they defended it, you would swear it was treasure, at least two MEC squads proudly stood upon thier prize.

Then a moment of silence, a real 3 or 4 seconds of silence, all the blowing wind and dust plumes calmed for one moment......then, breaking the silence a simultanious crack of over a dozen allied firearms echoed across the barren landscape.

After drawing my weapon to the side, myself and my teammates took a moment to endulge in the sight of our handywork. It seems we had all found that perfect shot at the same moment, and in that brief second neutralised every single defending enemy target.

These moments are rare for sure, but we didn't have time to rejoice as reinforcements wouldn't be far now. We took out the few MEC soldiers approaching the north bank with a new esteemed ease, and moved in to capture the Oasis.

I was a U.S. marine near the stairwell northeast of the square... I decided to go down... I looked north down the road adjacent to the track, and noticed there were no tangos in sight. I looked to my left and saw that it was clear. I sprinted across to take cover behind the building 20 meters ahead. I took a break and ate some Raisin Bran, and just as I took a bite, a tango showed up right where I was facing and began unloading on me from 60 meters away. I went prone and sent 15 5.56s toward him. He died. Right as I was finished with him, an enemy was on my left flank, and I took him out with ease. I moved north toward the MEC base, killing enemies left and right. I ended up killing fifteen straight before I died gloriously in combat.

I dont think flying planes in PRMM produces any good one war stories, but i do have one that happened just today, it was on Kubra dam, and this buddy in a mig was trying to shoot me down, to no avail, so i pulled up into the high "stall altitudes" in order to lose them, to my surprise he followed and as i was bordeing the stall altitude(around 700ft) i got a lock on signal, so i pulled up and stalled, my plane pulled a Kulbit (forward moving spin) and the nose of my plane turned facing him and i just remember that a missile he fired at me just grazed past my nose and between my tails, it was amazing i should of took a pic but it happened so fast, well he pulled off, i regained control, came up behind him, locked, fired, end of story. :D

I was leading a sqaud on Strike of Karkand (same with MagicMan) and I had a blast.
I remember the time we were US and attacking the warehouse. I threw a smoke to give quasim a chance to get a position on the corner so that he could cover us as we ran to the next cover. As he got into postion I told the men to start moving across one by one, but murphy and his stupid law came into effect and we all kinda strolled across as quasim laid some very effective cover fire. Then I remember the coolest sight ive ever seen. As I turned to throw a smoke nade to cover us as we moved up, I noticed the whole sqaud in crouching and prone position firing in unision as quasim sprint towards us and I was throwing the nade. It was like a war scene in a movie that got the gramy award! It was soo awesome.

And another amazing thing. The APC WAS ACUALLY USED TO TRANSPORT! I love it. And the driver didnt go zoomin into the base after we exited the APC he stuck around and covered us exactly how support vechiles should be used. To support the infantry. Wow... im excited. Im gonna get on right now.

Good Job PRMM team!

PS ( I would like to thank the medics for doing their job!)

Ok this was the coolest thing. Strike at karkend we had all flags usmc but the last one. We had about a 25 min firfight. Then the squad i was in and another a group of about 10 - 15 men. We went on the right flag threw the water up the ramp. Poped smoke then go behind them i poped 2nd smoke. They never saw us not once. We took there flag with no trouble then slaterd them with knifes. It was great and i lead the flak it was the best thing ever! Man it was like in the movies we were all moving on the flake we were in a line folling each other. Man that was the best teamwork i have seen.

Ahh Karkand city. A place of the never-ending battle it seems. My favorite kills in that map are the unseen ones. Particularly my claymore's that I set up at the last base for the MEC. The building to the north of the flag that has the UAV trailer next to it is where I set them. The USMC seems to like to flank around the north side of that building to come around and take the flag from the back. I placed the claymores there a few times, and every time I scored a kill. Or 2. Unfortunatly, I started spawning near the bridge..... and couldn't get back to that corner again. I think that's how the took our stronghold. *sigh*

I'm very happy that you guys are using the idea I posted earlier. I'll repost what my story from it as it's more fitting here than the suggestions area.

I joined in the middle of the round on Karkland 32, there were over 20 players. I was on the USMC side and when I joined they were getting their act together and charging to the suburbs flag. They capped it and we went down to the middle spawn. After another minor skirmish we had that flag to and we were off to the train station. After getting blown away by the lmg emplacement I spawned at my squad leader at the far north end of the map above that building that you can walk through. I saw a guy near that building prone, shooting. I lob a nade, he goes flying. We charge down and take out the two guys in that fenced area. We lay down because we're taking fire. A special ops guy comes out of nowhere and blasts our squad leader, but before he can get a shot on me put him down. I revived my squadleader, only a split second after does a poor sniper spawn. He has barely enough time to get a few shots off before we shred him. I charged to the back of the trains taking out a guy who was coming my way. I crawled closer and closer to the flag picking off every guy in my path(there were lots). Soon, I'm at the end of the train and have to run across an open area to reach the flag. If I was spotted the whole MEC team would have been shooting at me so I had to choose my moment carefully. I ran out and luckily wasn't spotted. I was close, but in that server the capture radius was normal and I got scared, but I knew what I had to do so I left my cover to cap the flag. I layed there and took out every guy who came at me and single handidly capped the flag. I and a few others rushed the bridge and towers where we took out a few guys who were camping. Suddenly my squad leader goes down, I revive him, and rush back up to get cover. He dies again very quickly and I stand up to investigate. An mec special ops guy charges up, I get two shots into him but he kills me. This worked out well because the MEC team had begun to ***** about how the teams were uneven.

I switched teams and after a first few frustrating round where I didn't get any kills and my team didn't even try to revive me I joined another squad that was attempting to gain control of the bridge. They had already charged the towers and were keeping the USMC on the ground at their spawn. The other tower was empty so I ran to it and killed a guy who was sneaking in to our base. Suddenly, we lose our last flag. I decided I had to take a gamble and take the quickest route up to maybe hold off the cap until more could arrive so I climb the ladder. I surprisingly made it up, and even more surprisingly, I made it up the ramp where I saw a whole squad of USMC made up of no less than two medics and two support. By some miracle they didn't see me so hit the deck and unloaded taking out a poor support. There were three more right and I knew I'd die laying there so I ran around and once again, by some miracle, wasn't spotted. I ran around and caught a medic trying to to revive the support and another support. I, once again, sprayed and got them all. The was very lucky to spot the last medic in the building hiding at the doorway waiting for me to come. I naded the building and he ran out and I put three bullets into his back putting him down. By this time I was the last man on my team, but the flag was white and I had hope. I hid inside the building for what seemed to be an hour. My squadleader has already given up hope and said we put up a damn good fight. I'm sure it was a nice surprise when I finally capped the flag and my whole team spawned at once. I was extatic. What followed was the most intense firefight for the flag that I've had in a long time. In a few deaths though we had secured our land mass again and were charging the bridge again.

The game ended and I got in second place, a second after that my graphics card overheated and my computer crashed. My friends ask me, if I get so upset playing BF2 why do I play? Simple, it's because of moments like this.

There where very little people on the server just enough for 3 Vs. 4. I was on the American team with these other two guys. In the beginning we where doing a great job and capped the Center Island. We didn't really want the game to end so quickly so we played defence on the top of the hill. Everything was going smoothly when suddenly a enemy captures the Factory.. our first base. So we all rushed back.. capped it but the MEC's took back the Center Island. We thought it would be fun to play defence so my two teammates became support and I was medic. They both proned at the end of the bridge and shot the MEC's as they walked down the hill. We started to slowly go up and went behind a bunch of rocks for cover. This is where it got messy. 2 of them became medics and one of them was a sniper.
We fought and we fought to get back the Center Island but somehow they then some how got behind us and capped the factory. In the end.. my team died but it felt so damn real and it really reminded be of hamburger hill.

I have the demo from that game, and I got some screenshots!

They're pretty plain and uninteresting but here they are anyways:

Strange how the name tags show up from so far away ... I only ever see the tags from squad members.
