An Offer to only 20 of the General PR Community

Ok Guys heres the deal, we have organised a large scale multi clan match, but are short by some 20 players for the PLA Team

Therefore the door is open for 20 select Players from the community.


This is not an opportunity to miss, and will be a battle of the battles :



Ok I am volunteering, with ABA (may regret this) to set up another Multi Clan Match, However this will have a really different "concept" to it.


The last match showed me the amount of true realistic warfighting/and Planning that can be employed here, with other clans.


I will post up more details soon, but for now just a few details


It will be

UK v China

It will be on a "Forest" type Map (A "tweaked" one for the match )

It will involve the co-ordination of all assets

it will be 32 v 32

It will involve one team defending with all assets (and having over 20 mins to prepare - ingame)

and one team attacking, using Recce, Air, armour, infantry and SF


There will be only 1 Objective

There will be no ticket draining - fight hard, and plan well, not just get the flags.

Fighting will be a little more concentrated, but will have other battles going on around the Map, which will happen naturally

ie - the recce battle, winning the air, infantry assaults, etc etc

But the focus will always remain on Taking the main objective








Ok here is the plan so you can understand it a little more.

The Ultimate - Combined Arms - Warfighting Match - To Date



Edit : Date: Saturday the 5th April @ 7.30pm UK Time

Map:

A "Version" of Fools Road, named

"Objective Peach"

The Differences on the Map will be:

1. Removed Militia, and insert the PLA, a conventional army
2. Main Bases will be uncappable, Brits will have Village also as an FOB, PLA will have the Hilltop.
3. Train Station, flag removed as not needed
4. That leaves warehouse which will initially be grey, and will have a few statics added to make it look more like a base, ie a gate, sentry positions, tents etc.
5. Warehouse will be known as "Objective Pearl"
6. Kit list:

UK:

4 x CR2
6 X Scimitar
4 x Warrior
4 x WIMIK
2 x Bikes
2 x 4x4 Buggies
2 x Support Trucks
1 x Apache
2 x Merlin

All will be on a 10 min respawn, and all will spawn at Main Base
CR2 will be on 15 min respawn

PLA Kit

6 x Type 98 Tank
8 x WZ551 APC
4 x Support Trucks
2 x Z 8 Transport Helo
1 x WZ 10 Attack Helo
2 x Bikes
2 x Type 95 AAV
4 x Nanjing (Tums)

All on a 10 min respawn less AA and Attack Helo on a 15 min respawn, and all spawn at main base


7. No time limit on Map
8. No Flag/Ticket Draining
9. Tickets set at UK 400 / PLA 500
10. There will be no "decay" on vehicles, ie a tank can sit there all day without it auto blowing, needed for Defensive positions

The Idea:

This will be an Objective, realistic warfighting Match. After seeing the gameplay the other night - this would really work.

The PLA will be the defenders, the UK being the Aggressors, with their objective being to take Objective Peach

We will have 2 Admins running the server, not ingame

Each team will also be assigned a "neutral" ingame Judge/DS, who will be loacated with the commander throughout, and will ensure the rules are followed correctly.

When the game starts, all will spawn at their respective bases, the PLA will then have 20 mins to get theirselves in a defensive position on Objective Peach, with some set Radius's - shown here, British are to hold at their main base and not leave. (Judges will ensure this is kept)

Radius for PLA Team, and one for SF Clearance Patrols, their defences should not deviate from this.

After 20 mins the Brits will be allowed to move out of their Base, and start to run with whatever plan they have decided, they will be allowed anywhere on the Map - less the UK no go zone (prevent base rape)

Once the initial - Armour contact is made (And both Judges agree), the PLA will be allowed to move and counter the attack in any way they want - outside of the radius's given, but must remember that Objective Peach must remain theirs at all costs.

The UK must take Objective Peach at all costs.

If they do, they must cap it and then hold it ......

The winner is whoever has the most tickets left, remembering their is no ticket drain, its purely kills that loose tickets.




Basically, the winner is whoever has tickets left, once you have lost your tickets, you lose, or if the Commander "surrenders" - simple as that







A server will be provided by Tactics & Teamwork, and will be running 24/7 - 2 weeks prior to the match for Practice's which teams will be allocated set times during the week, and passworded.

TS - will also be provided by them, and I will ensure comms are slick this time.





The Judges are what will hold this together I believe, and I think this will work really, really well.


If you want a game of "non stop" action, then this is probably not for you, so dont enter, however if you want to see a well planned - non rushed, realistic battle pans out then this is it - the ultimate in Reality.


Once I have things set in place, I will be closing this thread and reopening a sign up thread for Sign ups, with specific details.

Match date has now been set for Saturday 5th April @ 1930hrs UK Time



The Match server will now be available 2 weeks prior to the match for Training, ie 1 night each team per week, so we can have 2 sessions each with the whole team prior to the Match.

These will be passworded accordingly


Tue = PLA Training

Thu = British Army Training



This has been kindly provided by epoch - Tactics & Teamwork server Admin, who has kindly donated his server for the event.

10 minute respawn for that many assets?

Edit: Heck, if everyone on the team was in an asset, there would still be plenty left over if they died, no recounting the spawning.

UK_Force can you just confirm the UK and PLA choppers please?

You say the UK get 2 Merlins and 1 Apache, and the PLA 1 WZ10 and 2 transports.

In the screenshots, the UK have 2 Apaches and 1 Merlin, compared to 1 WZ10 and 2 transports for the PLA.

I don't get that impression at all... this will work because both teams will be under strict rules of engagement, with players in defined roles that they'll stick to, with clear lines of communication between squad leaders that won't rely on the commander to relay everything manually.

It's just not possible in a public server to have a match on a single map where players will wait for over thirty minutes from the start of the round before they'll go weapons-free.

As such, assets have to be limited in order to ensure that it doesn't become a solo-tank fest.
