Wouldn't the gazelle be a better choice due to its presence in the UK forces, some middle east armies and central europe countries ?
1 vehicle for 2 or 3 sides (UK, CMO and even militia ?) with different skins and weapons

I'd be satisfied if we could get a light attack helo that doesn't have a huge desire to crash face first into the ground.
But this is definitely a cool suggestion, I'm assuming some 7.62 MGs (maybe a 20mm cannon?) on one side, two HOTs on the other would make sense? Too lazy to look at my aircraft books and check it out, but that would be a sweet and reasonably well balanced helo then.
*Edit*
Just saw Nitneuc's post, also quite a sensible idea. But gazelle has been suggested before, not sure why it was shot down. Maybe the brits are retiring it? I forget, and I'm feeling lazy this morning.

doesnt the light chopper that the MEC have right now {i cant remember the name of it, that little one that is like the MEC equivalent of the little bird} pretty much represent this role?

how would the wire guided aspect of the HOT and TOW be incorpirated? (i think the HOT is wire guided plz correct me if im wrong) it would be sweet to see these in game but is it actually possible to incorpirate these features?

the current MEC light helo, the EC 635 is actually intented to replace the BO 105, that becomes more obvious, when you know that the EC 635 project initially was called BO 108, but then Bölkow was bought by Eurocopter and the moddel was renamed.
=> no need to replace a helo by its precessor

Ok, we shouldnt replace the current chopepr by its predecessor, but at least fix the thing. I understand the DEVs dont want to make a new model, but at least improve the old one. right now the light helicopters seem like toys. they need decent flight physics, and accurate loadouts. I have no problem with the light choppers but i thought the BO-105 would be more realistic

the moddel CAN not be edited, since it was made by dice and not by the PR devs.

the MODEL cant be edited, however the flight characteristics (throttle, manueuverability, stability) can; as for the weaponry we can use a different type of round. Instead of that wierd round it uses we can give it some 20mm rounds or a 7.62

I'm pretty sure it uses something like a 20mm round, but I'm too lazy to check. Regardless, it's a pretty heavy round. I think the weapons are actually okay, although I think something with an AT missile or two instead of one cannon would be better. Either way, flight controls do need a lot of work, and the tweak files can be freely modified.

Midget, I give you credit for what I believe may be an original (and well-informed) suggestion! As has been pointed out, the EC 635 is intended to replace the BO-105 in the EC lineup; many states still use them, though, as you pointed out and they and the Gazelle are popular in the Mid-East.
BloodBane, the BO105 can carry just about all of the same loadouts as the Gazelle; 7.62mm MG pods on each side, 20mm cannon (centerline), or 4-6 ATGMs, etc.
Nitneuc, BloodBane is correct. We did originally have Gazelle in mind for both UK and MEC when we started making the mod, but with EA's permitted use of the Armored Fury expansion assets and the UK's gradual withdrawal from service of the Gazelle (which they stopped using as an armed scout helicopter in the 1980s; now using just door-gunners sometimes), it fell by the wayside. The PLA also has a small squadron of Gazelles for training and opposing force work.
SuperTimo, HOT, TOW and similar wire-guided missiles could be incorporated on helicopters just as they are now on the ground launching platforms.

Something is not right here, there's a non-US suggestion....

Seriosuly, I think light choppers should be able to do more damage. Their mini guns are just ****, I wouldn't mind having better spray damage but less ammo.

When there are more original models there'll also be more original weaponry so map makers can get different loadouts for each map. For example with the new Harrier model they've made models for Paveways and Mavericks (and another one I forget the name of) so these weapons will be able to be fitted on whatever the developers see fit.
With every new model made less work has to be done in the future; look at how many models the community mods borrow off each other and retexture for different armies, it makes the creation of new factions easier, same will probably happen with vehicles and their loadouts.
Due to this hopefully well get some slightly more lethal light choppers in the future.

Yea...they currently have the Gazelle/Eurocopter,but it's a **** Armored Fury model...The USI Gazelle is nice!
But then again, what from USI isn't in this mod,lol...no offense.
