What if each player had the ability to use "A burst of adrenaline" This would drain the stamina bar completely, and could only be used if you had over 2/3 of your stamina, but in using it, you would either eliminate, or revert to .7 suppression effects for about 10 seconds.

no, suppression is here to stay and it should affect you no matter what. Also magical abilities isn't what this mod is about.

Adrenaline boost?
I would like a fireball abilitty which would drain all stamina and all magazines and would work like 5 HAT's with 4 as much splash damage.
I would also like mana shield which would drain all stamina and field dressings from my medic kit, but will give me 6k2 seconds of shield against minor spe... small caliber guns.
The last thing I would like to see its "heal allies" with AOE of 10 meters 60% of hitpoint recovered, vehicles are affected with 50% of that effect, punishment to stamina or smoke for vehicles.
Can we? Can we?

A big tip for people suggesting new features:
If something like it has been done before then it is far more likely that it is possible to implement. Inversely, ideas that are not based upon existing features are unlikely to possible to implement. I see suggestion after suggestion depend on some obscure event to occur when totally unrelated conditions are met. A good deal of coding in BF2 is done using set commands. You sting these commands to get a particular outcome but there is only so many outcomes that are possible.
With regards to this particular suggestion I have this to say:
Seeing as stamina reductions due to being shot is hardcoded, stamina reductions due to instaproning is hardcoded, stamina reductions upon dodging bullets is hardcoded, you'll be seeing in all likelihood that stamina reduction due to pressing a button ontop off negating an effect entirely or putting another effect in it's place is hardcoded. On top of that, people still seem to headshot me after I fully suppress them. Buggered if I want to make it easier for them to do that to me.

Too late, playing Basrah is pretty much a RPG game... Civilians getting shot for telling the British about the ammo caches, civilians giving intel. This one civilian even said to someone "I'll give you medicine." I automatically thought of a RPG game.

How about flanking?

Its interesting as to how PR, as it moves more and more away from being an arcade game brings in new elements which require new skills. In chess you have two general elements to success which rather imitate war games well.
Tactics - Using tricky maneuvers, fakes techniques to catch your opponent at any moment.
Positioning - Using/acquiring a more advantageous position that allows for more tactical advantages and fewer weaknesses/opportunities for your opponent.
The more arcade style depends on quick thinking tactics in the moment...where as now you need both tactics and positioning to win. The problem is that positioning requires foresight and knowing what areas are weak to be in and what areas are strong. PR players tend to just go where they please not thinking "Hmmm, I'm rather vulnerable here as its kind of open and the cover is easily flanked or has few retreating options". It's a little more of a thinking mans game now.

I made this suggestion as it seems like no matter how many bullets I shoot at someone, they still always nail me with a headshot, whereas I'm totally screwed with the new suppression. I love the new suppression, it really makes me put my head down, but I'm tired of watching other people score magic headshots on me when I'm peppering them, so I'd like a chance back. This would probably only hurt my chances though. Perhaps if we tweaked the deviation some more. .7 seemed fine to me (except the sniper rifles).
