Assault Chinook

Hi everyone, i've been thinking in this idea since 3 months ago...
My vision is an Asssault Chinook with a door, that opens in two sides..i mean, right and left......and each door with one, or two kinds of "Grappling Hook"
So, the pilot keep the helicpter stabilized and then the assault troop starts descending by the rope....
It will be good for night missions like Bi Ming....or for Urbans maps, letting the assault troop for taking control of buildings from the roof..
sorry for my poor english, i hope that its understable......
Thanks to all
PR, the world's best mod!

Oh noes! He didn't mention the word, but something like "grappling hooks on either side of the chopper" should say it all

.
Engine doesn't support that, my friend.
Edit: fastroping is useless in PR, UNLESS the chopper blades get a collision mesh (or something I drew a while ago, to "fake" collision of the blades):
Where the pink parts are invisible collision thingies, which hit buildings, if you fly too close to 'em. Makes flying more realistic and harder in urban environments.

I have felt a disturbance in the force.
Fast Roping isn't going to happen, sorry.

Even if this were possible, it's stupid, not to mention a running joke in these forums. Any competent/sober pilot can just touch down softly on a roof, and even then, what pilot is dumb enough to set down on a roof unless it's the hotel or something tactically necessary?

IRL dont they only use fastropes in streets and the suchlike where landing a chopper is a NO NO?
Its nice to see the fastrope dream alive and kicking.

Welcome to the forums!
This has come up before, and unfortuneately due to limitations with the BF2 engine fast roping is not possible.
Also, before making a suggestion, please do use the search feature (in the top right corner of the forum) and read the "already suggested suggestions" stickied thread at the top of the suggestion forum.
