Binoculars not widescreen compatible?

As you can see the edges are not blacked out, will this be updated at some point for those of us who play in widescreen?

It's a known "bug", it also happens to me because i play at 1440*900 and that's a 16:10...

yeh i thought it would be known already, just wanted to post incase, I'm sure it would be a simple fix.

I don't know about you but last time I looked through binoculars I didn't have a sideways figure eight blackness. Just a hint of black in the corners.

Are you using the widescreen shortcut code to make sure your widescreen monitor stretches the screen right? (it doesn't fix the bino's issue since Dice didn't make the game for anything but a 4:3 monitor)

i have the same thing on 1920x1200 with

a) widescreen option and res in shortcut
and
b) the widescreen fixer

I use the "+szx 1440 +szy 900" parameters on the shortcut to desktop.
