the other day my friend gave me this link to make me wanna play Sniping in EJOD Desert ! i was playing all day on PR and wasnt in the mood at all !! when he gave me this vid to watch , i opened PR as fast as i can to play abit of a spec op mission ...

but it gave me the mood for FASTROPING (like u said) And Ambushing Houses !!

i dunno what the hype is. shooter was a good movie, but far from fantastic.

any other good sniper movies you guys know of, i have the day off and i wouldnt mind watching some.

The movies are so incredibly weak compared to a couple of VERY good books of real snipers. They are a very easy read too.

Marine Sniper - This is my favorite, it amazes me beyond all doubt how they haven't made a good true-to-life movie out of Hathcocks experiences. The books is insanely fun and cool. This guy did stuff you could only dream of doing in PR.

Shooter - Bio of a modern sniper, Jack Coughlin (Ithink)...great books though and I'm far from a "reader", come on I play video games instead of read

notice how in the movie scene, the sniper has a SPOTTER and hes clearing the way for a friendly convoy. in other words being a vital asset to his team. i hope all the hollywood sniper wannabes in PR do that instead of the scene where he shoots at the helicopter and tries to snipe 20 guys.

you should see me in basrah when I have the sniper kit. I usually infiltrate over to island first, scope out enemy contacts, then I head over to hotel and provide limited cover for guys searching for caches, then I find someplace in the middle of the city to sit and cover everyone. it works great and its vital to keep the roof tops clear of PKM's and RPG's, they'll waste an entire squad easily.

thats one of the main things that got to me the most !! after that video i went with my bud to EJOD and tried to do the same thing and a freakin AT blew us up , LOL !

Didn't make me play PR, but I have to watch the xvid now (again).
