I searched and didn't find anything...

So,All I'm suggesting is that,the current Humvee engine sounds be fixed,because they currently sound like a civilian Hummer...The actual Humvee has a "whine" type of sound to it.If any of you have played Frontlines:Fuel Of War yet,the Red Star Coalition jeep sound exactly like a Humvee...

The one in game is gas, are you talking about the diesel hummy?

a gas hmmw? meaning gas or gasoline? coz an LNG hmmw would seem too environmentally friendly for a US product (j/k)

I'm pretty sure it has never been clarified which fuel system the Humvee in BF2/PR is running on...

Also, Youtube and Liveleak videos aren't suitable references for sounds. The compression on those videos is so severe they completely disguise the actual sound.

Well,I'll try and upload my vid. of me at the Indy 500,when it was National Guard day,and it sounded exactly like that...

Its the acceleration noise, IT sounds Like a GM 350.
Not the GM 6.5 liter turbodiesel.
The CO truck has the manly diesel-like sound.

Well,I dunno about that,because I rode in a combat humvee with the "gunners box" on it,and armored up and everything.But no 50cal. mounted up top of course,they were giving free rides of 3 people each (in back) around the area...And yes,it did that in acceleration,but also had the sound (but softer) while cruising...

Sounds fine to me.
