Tank Laser Rangefinders/Warnings

Thank you DEV's for finally getting rid of the completely unrealistic HAT lock on warning! But now, to complete the cycle, we need a different warning for realistic tanking.

All modern MBT's use laser rangefinders to properly aim their guns. The gunner aims at the enemy, hits the laser, the gun automatically elevates and the the gunner fires (whole cycle takes about 2 seconds). As a result, all modern MBT's also have laser warning devices on them. If a tank lazes another tank an alert sound is heard in the tank warning them that incoming is about to ruin their day. The warning works on all types of lasers, so laser guided munitions (such as the Russian gun launched AGM's and the US Hellfire) also provide a warning.

Its probably not feasable, but my solution would be to add a laser button which you had to push to get any accuracy beyond 100 yards (IIRC tank guns are bore sighted to 200 yards and capable of 2000-4000 yard shots, since we limit to 1000yards visibility, 100yards is properly scaled). Pushing the button would trigger the warning in the target tank. This would allow you to watch a tank at distance but not be able to hit it until you lasered it, thereby giving yourself away. I think it would reduce tank sniping tanks at super long range. The system should also alarm any time an attack chopper sights a tank with its laser designator.

I'm not sure how you could work it, but it would be nice.
