I think this might have been requested before but looking at through the forums i cant find any post of it. SO... i was wondering since bf3 isn't going to have the same feel to it as bf2 does, when you feel you have completed most of the mod why not have a go at making a pr mod for special forces?

Has been suggested before. The dev's will wait for BF3 first, before they can say anything. For now, BF2 is okay.

With special forces, do you mean making a mod for BF2's Special Forces-Expansion or a Special Forces Minimod withing PR?

If you mean BF2 Special Forces, PR is already using statics and items of SF, no need to force the player to buy SF.

If you mean a Special Forces Minimod - get a team and work on it, you might even be lucky and find people who want to help. If not - the devs wont include that I'm pretty sure.

Use spec ops kit as UK, bam you're now S.A.S. Or pick up an ak-47 from an insurgent on op archer, Bam you're now an under cover seals operative. Well done!

Seriously though, Elite forces use pretty much the same gear as regular forces, the only difference is they are trained more intensely or just have natural talent.

So, if you K/D ratio is always 5 or higher, consider yourself special forces.

BF3 hasnt been annuncied yet.

PR already uses a lot of SF stuff. In a normal game it is possible to play as SF and do SF things in the SF way.

Yep, Militia and Insurgents are from SF, they use SF tools (grappling hook), and SF voices for the BAF.

SF is a mod itself, as you can select from the Community tab, and it has a folder of its own in the 'mods' folder.. ;)
