I was thinking.....

To be honest I think the US skin looks a bit dumb... especially the desert cammo....

Would a redesign of the US soldiers not be great?
Give them digital cammo, just like they have in reality.

They are marines.

US Marines use Home as you see it in game.
It's the US Army that uses ACU, which is what you're asking for.

But don't worry, you'll get your share of digi-camo with the Army that should appear in the future releases.

I still dont understand why the A.C.U. pattern is gray... Ok in Urban Concreted City is an awesome camo but deep in a jungle i'm not sure.

ACU blends well in forest areas too.Along with Desert/Urban areas.I know it blends well with Forested areas,because I have a full ACU and play Airsoft with it,in forested airsoft fields and etc.

ACU is two shades of green and one tan - there is no grey.

The MARPAT skin is ok. Its the woodland skin of the US. I do like that one. But the desert skin.... and when fighting urban.... Thats the one I dont like.... digital would look much better

USMC does NOT use ACU or any other digital camo.

If you want to see ACU on Marines you'll have to go nag US ministry of defense (or whoever takes care about such things) to have USMC change change their uniforms

As far as I know they use digital cammo. And that doesnt matter.... this topic is about: wouldn't you think the ACU/digital cammo be a great idea for PR in urban fights?

They are 2 completely different parts of US armed forces with different uniforms, weapons and vehicles.

It's Project Reality. It tries to stick to reality as close as possible and issuing ACU to USMC that doesn't use it at all kinda interferes with that .


If you want to see ACU you'll have to wait for 0.8(?), when US Army together with all their goodies .

If by "digital camo" you're referring to the Marine MARPAT, I'm all for it.

MARPAT, the Marine's version of Canada's CADPAT system of pixelated camouflage has been coming into service since sometime around 2002-2003.
